Seriously, I’m a regular polyglot for an American. I spoke better French after 3 weeks in France than she speaks English (with a native speaker husband) after 20 years in the US. Her English blows, her other languages are automatically worse, except her native one. She lies as “well” as her husband.

I don’t think she speaks five languages at near-native levels. I think she may be passably conversational with effort. I could claim that I speak four languages because I’m passably conversational and sort of literate in that many, but English is the only one I’m genuinely fluent in.
