I'd never heard of her until I saw Baby Driver last weekend. Now it seems like she's everywhere. (No, I don't follow all the musics that the kids are listening to today. Damn kids….)

A Serious Man is one of my favorite Coen Bros films as well.

Hey, you're that penguin they were taking about at the end of the episode, aren't you? Where's your zebra buddy?

"ooglebutts" sounds too much like "oogieloves" for my comfort, so I'm going to have to take a pass on that, though I'm intrigued as to what "going for gelato and ooglebutts" actually consists of…

I think it's being way overpraised in film nerd circles, just because we get to see so little of talented, passionate filmmakers doing well-crafted genre work. But I still enjoyed it (though not as much as the Cornetto Trilogy or Scott Pilgrim) and I think it's going too far to dismiss its supporters with a blanket

Unless you got a pizzeria who uses really good ham, pepperoni is better with pineapple, because you get such a strong, complementary contrast of flavors. IMHO.

I just want to say that "Some Kinky Miracle" would be a great name for a band…

It's a German letter that represents a double S. I forget its name.

A Møøse once bit my sister…

I've kept up with the other few shows I follow, but some of these TP episodes I've been watching twice, which I almost never do (until years later, that is). I may re-watch the last 2 episodes tonight after work, now that Saul is over.

Wow! Great observations!

What about Martin Starr? Or Starr and Nanjiani as feuding Sith acolytes trying to win the favor of their master?

I support this…

I remember a few truly positive reviews at the time, a lot of mostly positive reviews with reservations, and quite a few who considered it a misstep. If you look at the oldest reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, you see quite a few splats among the fresh.

I've heard this argument a lot, but I don't buy it. They are two halves of what was conceived as one film. The first is QT displaying his full grasp of action and its technical challenge as artistry. The second is him displaying his grasp of character and dialogue as artistry. I don't see how anyone who understands

I'd love to see QT adapt something that he really cares about again, instead of just writing another revenge movie. I've always wondered whether Jackie Brown scared him off of adaptation because it wasn't as well received at the time either by critics or the box office. I'd say that time has proven it to be one of his

The scene of Kim's car getting stuck in the middle of nowhere was my favorite scene of the night. I was on edge because it was suspenseful, but I knew the writers wouldn't melodramatically strand her there, because that would just be stupid and predictable, and besides, Kim's too generally competent not to get herself

In FWWM, the Fat Trout Trailer Park that Stanton's character manages is located in Deer Meadow, OR. Maybe Richard Horne's "business meeting" was there? I don't know…

Because lowercase L's and uppercase I's are indistinguishable in this font, I thought you were saying that he's now "A.I." from Home Improvement, as in A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, another film that Osment starred in, and I was really confused there for a moment.

I can imagine Helena dying in a self-sacrifice scenario to save all her seestras that wouldn't cause me to break down. But otherwise, it would be nice to see her get some peace and fulfillment and live to enjoy it…
