HOT TAKE: PTA disappeared up his own asshole with The Master and hasn’t been since.

They say there’s no people like show people...

If Steve McQueen were to ever meet the ghost of Steve McQueen, it would probably happen in a Quentin Tarantino movie...

I too came in on LRP. I bought NAIHF out of a sense of obligation after being underwhelmed by Monster, but found myself pleasantly surprised and thought it was among their best work. It was Up when I knew I wouldn’t be buying any more R.E.M. albums, even though I enjoyed much of it...

I don’t think you and those of you who agree with this post really understand the tone of the show, but I’m sure you’ll disagree with me. Anyway, this is all I have to say on the subject.

This article reminds me of the Scottish pop band from the 80s, Danny Wilson, who named themselves after a Frank Sinatra movie after the estate of a classic Hollywood actor raised objections to their original band name, Spencer Tracy...

I don’t understand. Is he one of those CREEPY magicians? Or one of THOSE creepy magicians?

No, “Doon” was the “dessert planet” in a lame National Lampoon book parody whose only funny part was the glossary. “Dune” is a “desert planet”.

MORE Lokis?! Fuck me...

FUN FACT: “People Who Died” was originally a poem by Ted Berrigan that was intended as a poem that everyone could write their own version of. Jim Carroll set his to music and the rest is history...

Somehow I was under the impression that this was a complete, limited series. After watching the first couple of episodes, I thought there were things to admire about it, but I didn’t know if I wanted to watch it weekly. I was waiting to see how the reviews of the finale sounded.

A The.

This is pretty high praise for a movie I fell asleep 15 minutes into the only time I tried to watch it.
