“Two teen boys and two teen girls sound like a good idea”

Counterpoint: This is the worst idea. Unless, maybe, you went full Real Genius and made some attempt to give them the bona fides necessary to do whatever it is they’re doing. For whatever its other failings, the original Ghostbusters cast pulled off “failed but

Dunno, if this took place after Infinity War/Endgame you’d figure he’d have access to the suit he had in Inifinity War and not back to elaborate PJs.

Definitely enough book material for two movies, but the first movie really has to be good enough stand-alone or they’ll pull the plug on the payoff. Yes, for whatever else of the flaws of Dawn of Justice were I wanted to see Darkseid vs. Justice League.

So now in addition to having to use a password manger just to manage the eleventy bajillion passwords all meeting the proper length and character requirements I need in order to apparently not keep my accounts secure at all now I have to have a bunch of bullshit dongles that I can actually physically lose just to

Republicans did exactly what they set out to do. They created/amplified a conspiracy theory that Ford’s lawyers are Democratic operatives playing Ford and this entire thing is nothing but a raw political play.

Better:

“The armed robbers had to go to jail, and the victims didn’t, so who are the real victims there?”

“First, what is and is not forgivable?”

Has he fully admitted for what he did, shown remorse, and asked for forgiveness?  Not sure I’ve seen that out of the public statements.  If he hasn’t done those things, why would anyone give him forgiveness?

I would be interested in checking this out, but I’d need to still be able to support the local journalists, bloggers, and beat writers who cover my favorite college sports team. Does Mastadon make it easy for people like that who use Twitter extensively (and whose posts would comply with Mastadon’s TOS) to crosspost

Better water resistance/swim-proof, easier to read screen . . . I’ll upgrade.

Did they cut their budget for cinematics, or was this a stylistic choice?

I get why you don’t want the movie to be 150 minutes, but why 100? Couldn’t you use an extra 15 minutes to tie things together, add some depth from the book? It’s not like a movie with a runtime of 120 minutes is the movie equivalent of A Tale of Two Cities.

Enjoyed all the performances; also felt like a bit too much like III. Was a bit sad about the villain. Wish Hunt/Walker could have done a Dread Pirate Roberts (they have to pass the torch *eventually*, that might be a neat not-Bond way to pull it off).

Cool, let’s rehash everything about Lynch’s Dune!  I’ll bet nobody has any thoughts to share.

Particularly with Scott’s upgraded suit, he should be able to come back out from his collection without assistance from the tunnel, right?  I assume we’re not expecting him to be stuck there.

Why the fuck would the power to fly also necessarily make someone skinny, or buff?

Also: Fuck off.

I think we’ve seen enough examples though of adaptations that can stand as their own work, you know?  Time will tell if this is one of them, but I’m not ready to write it off.

As someone who played a bit initially but then quit the game, I have basically 2 questions:
