“a lot of the studies done on that website are from universities and directly taken from the FBI.”

If you want to provide “good data”, you’ll need to go a source that’s not John Lott, Fox News columnist (among other things), dicing up statistics that show the results he wants to show. So, that was my first bit of research. You should also understand that your protestation that you don’t get your talking points from

“You are taking my words in pieces and not in context.”

“You brought politics into it when you mentioned the word ban”

Don’t know how you read politics into my response. I’d like to see that 3.8 per captia intentional homicide rate on the Wikipedia chart *you brought to this thread* cut in half or better, in line with most other first world countries. Don’t you want that? Why can’t we look to other first-world countries whose rates

“I’m talking about a world-wide comparison, not picking and choosing individual countries from a hand-picked list to compare against.”

121 is ok . . . I guess? I mean, most first world countries with stronger gun regulation than the United States have rates that start at 1/2 of ours and go down from there. So, yippee for setting the bar low?

You always get people who point out exceptions that prove the rule. Some machete attack, somewhere. I’d be *happy* to compare statistics of the occurrence rates and fatality figures for those vs. mass shootings. Any day of the week.

Why would licensed vs. unlicensed matter? Unlicensed guns had to come from somewhere. Most of the articles I’ve read about shooters is that they either obtained their firearms legally, or stole them from someone who did.

Facts are indeed terrible, especially when someone forces you at gunpoint to click on every article such as this one rather than scroll past it. You and your 5 article comments shall be missed.

Am I the only one who finds it weird how strongly some people seem to feel about whether this theory is true or not?

“God help the free thinker who steps outside of accepted p.c. doctrine”

So what’s the deal with Unity and Chrome? I know there’s a game I play at Kongregate that uses Unity and I have to use Firefox in order to play it.

Jeff George on line 3.

Dog whistle much?

Two bros. Because of course 2 bros.

There is no question whatsoever that in an analogy of the Bears to The Replacements, Jay Cutler is Eddie Martel minus the hardware.

Any thought that more people might be trying competitive products? Personally I never got into Dota 2, but I have been playing Vainglory on my tablet more or less every day.

So . . . many . . . words . . .

Are any of these good for younger players? I have a 12 year old and a 9 year old and we are always looking for games that the three of us can play and have fun with.
