I can't hear what you're saying, I'm grooving to tune on my Zune player.

Teams used to lose value all the time; Steinbrenner bought the Yankees for less than CBS paid for them a decade earlier. NOW, if the cable TV model that has been supporting these franchise prices falls apart, so will the values.

Considering what the Milwaukee Bucks, with an old arena and a stagnant market sold for (as well as the Kings, same situation) , it's a bargain.

The last thing any employee who would give him a "freebie" would do would be to stick a price sticker on the goods.

Over the length of this settlement, the NFL will pay more to the commissioner in salary.

You actually could have spent the whole article talking about the bread. The bread is utterly and horribly tasteless. Seriously, no other bread tastes like this; bread should be one of the good, if not great parts of the sandwich; at Subway, the bread is merely something to hold in all the miserable ingredients they

The really sad thing is that this special will outrate every single Stanley Cup playoff game, and every NBA game short of the Finals. Oh, and the baseball All-Star Game.

I'd still bang her, shitty attitude and all. So would you.

Was the screen name VMIgirl already taken?

Ill go off topic slightly and let you know that a friend who has been a criminal defense attorney here in Chicago since 1981 said that he's never heard of that secret prison, and he's a guy who has defended some real scumbags, er, interesting clients over that period of time. Says it's a non-story, and he has zero

Is the tall guy with the stupid hat Matt Drudge?

NBA and NHL both deserve to be ranked last for making four rounds of best of seven. Back in the early 80's, the NBA had the best of THREE(!) first round, with, I believe, the top teams having byes (!).

Sloan made comments when he retired about "not being able to get to the minds of certain players these days" or something like that. The man was spoiled after 15 years of John Stockton, someone like Deron must've been a real wakeup call.

Is it just me, or does that picture of John Mayer make me think he'd be a natural to play the lead in "The Jeff Goldblum Story"?

It helps that Rob isn't 700 years old, and operating out of Milwaukee.

Yeah, but at least Old Style isn't $12.

The Pirates oddly have never drawn well historically, even in the late 1960's with great players like Clemente and Stargell, they were drawing well under 10k per game average attendance most years. They actually set a franchise record for total draw last year - pretty crazy, considering their pretty decent history.

Am I the only one who thought the story was about a fat John Calipari?

Why so many Knicks stories? Isn't this a national website? I feel like I'm reading Steve Serby.

Even if Alou catches it, the inning is still on. And the Cubs still probably lose. I was there!
