I love Embiid! I guess I’d have to sit down and think about why I find Simmons’s brand of aloof, smirking arrogance so much less tolerable than Embiid’s brash trash talk, but for whatever reason I find Embiid much easier to root for than Simmons.

I mean, he’s not saying “Hey, I think you faked the moon landings, prove me wrong.” He’s saying (albeit awkwardly) “why do you think people believe that the moon landing was fake?” It’s a perfectly reasonable question IMO.

I got the NIPT testing done too because some of the chromosomal anomalies result in such a poor and short quality of life, I couldn’t bear to think of having an infant go through that. However, my religious (former) friends thought I was a monster for even getting the testing done.
