Any suggestions for parents with kids with sensory processing disorders? My son is hyposensitive and engages in sensory seeking behavior constantly. He’s seeing an occupational therapist for it, but any suggestions beyond that would be helpful.

It’s so easy to dupe people because although you can’t spot reduce you can spot gain in areas.
yes, how dare they make that personal choice. Super dick move on their part for either not having the money for booze, having a personal reason for not wanting alcohol at their wedding, or accommodating a family member who has a personal reason for not wanting alcohol there.
any ideas or links to articles outlining the best way to get sell a comic book collection or other nerdy collectibles?
ha, nice. is it because I occasionally post on groupthink?
it’s just me, my wife and my wife’s parents this year for us. it’s kind of spot on for some things, but some of it’s just kind of off.....
I’ll serve as another check in that column. I’m also 6’4” and my wife is 5’4”. I tried tall women before, but there’s something special about the shorties.
My wife and I ended up using a friend of the family as a nanny right after my son was born. She was inexpensive and we trusted her with our baby. Her mother died suddenly and she needed time off… what was expected to be a day or two ended up being a week and a few days. I don’t begrudge her wanting time to be with her…
I had one of these in my 70 year old home that I ripped out about two years ago. I still needed window units in the summer, and it was like an open window in the winter. you could feel the cold air rushing in from it.
you don’t want to overwork the meat with your hands... the more it’s worked together the more the fats within the meat break down and you’ll make the burger kind of rubbery and not that great.
yeah that’s not a thing. It might be an illusion... like if a tall dude and a short dude both gain a lb of muscle it will show on the short dude a lot more than the tall dude, but provided they both have similar Testosterone levels and work out a comparable amount of time they’re likely going to gain it at the same…
I know, right? we’re such enormous ass-hats. ;)
Welfare Caseworker =/= mean that I enable lazy people and give them your hard earned tax dollars.

I was down in disneyworld ages ago on a family vacation in one of the quick service cafeteria style places in the hotel. some girl kept yelling to her family that was across the room all excited that they had quesadillas... pronounced kes-ska-dill-lias.
The decisions and work I do directly affects the public assistance that those in poverty receive. If I don’t get something done someone else can’t eat or get medical coverage; the stress is obscene. That’s not something I can just leave at work. It haunts me.
They forgot the obscene amount of money in things that your dog will destroy. Speaking personally, 7 pairs of shoes, two couches, an entire carpeted floor in my old apartment, 3 ps3 controllers, no less than 3 pairs of pants and several several pairs of socks. so throw an extra 2-3k in expenses onto the total.
My wife recently gave birth and sheds like crazy too. her hair is everywhere and there’s constantly a little pile of hair caught in the drain whenever I go to shower. But there are so many other issues with which to quarrel surrounding a newborn/infant/toddler that this is ridiculously low on the list. You guys must…
I can understand his annoyance. I legitimately didn't think of people grilling while camping until you said it.
It's incredibly disappointing to me that the vast majority of the "advise" we get here is "take advantage of nepotism!"
