I had a ‘79 Rabbit in high school. Not a convertible, but a five-speed and seeing shots of that interior and the engine bay stirred some memories. I adored that super-fun car and took relatively good care of it, at least for a teenager. I still dream about it sometimes.

I had a ‘79 Rabbit that was a blast to drive. I took good care of it but it was utterly unreliable and bound for the Pick ‘n Pull after a measly 65k miles (I’m not a wrencher, but still.) This car is kryptonite. ND.
