I complained about this when the DLC hit Destiny 1 and I refused to buy it.

I do get why it’s annoying, getting locked out of certain activities because you haven’t bought the expansion, but that’s exactly what happens when the developer modifies an existing feature instead of releasing a separate version. I’m also fairly certain that in addition to raising the level cap, there are Curse of…
I think if they catch enough heat IMMEDIATELY after catching heat for their XP debacle that they could change over. but they’d pretty much have to open up light levels beyond 305 for people.
In other shocking, not shocking news, the Leviathan Prestige Raid now requires the expansion to access and people are shocked. Given this is just a repeat of Bungie screwing over vanilla players like they did in D1, i am having trouble caring. I knew that as a vanilla player i was going to get f’ed over by Bungie with…
I wonder how dark the skin color on the character creator goes? Whenever I have the option, I like to make the characters look as much like clones of me as possible :P But unfortunately to a lot of Japanese games, skin doesn’t get darker than a mildly-tanned beige.
Not much...it has been 37 days since I had any electricity at my house, so all I can do is play Nintendo Switch till the battery runs out, and wait till Monday recharge it at work. I also need to wait for Mario Odyssey to arrive from mail (order it from Amazon), hopefully will arrive in one piece...hopefully.
Was gonna say the same thing :/
I was wondering the same thing!
A typical “I got mine, fuck everyone else” argument.
As someone that was in the building when the dude was arrested, I’m glad they took a precautions for the rest of the weekend. One nutjob trying to murder someone is all it takes for others to be like “Hey, that’s not a bad idea, lets murder people at comiccons with lax security.”
This is kind of annoying honestly. There was a very serious situation, so maybe it’s not the right time to joke about your cosplay guns being banned...
*TRIGGERED*
Notice you didn’t actually answer the question, you instead created your own question, then answered it instead.
Why are people so bitchy about DLC? You got a 100% complete, fully-polished game. Maybe they had these features already planned and held them back on purpose for DLC. Maybe not. It’s impossible to know. (Aside from a handful of the amiibo-exclusive items, which don’t count, because those were always meant to be tied…
I get it. These are passion products that come from a fan’s heart. But from Nintendo’s point of view, it’s a product that capitalizes on their copyrights. Would as many people have payed attention if it was completely original from the beginning and just “inspired” by Zelda?
If the acronym KKK makes you chuckle, then you my friend have a problem. You KNOW what it means, and KNOW how people feel about that, so you think of US (your consumers); As foolhardy jerks who find humor in racism... We aren’t you, and I concur with your name not being in the credits. Cya homeslice.
So not only did the wordplay not localize, the developer themselves backed entirely away from the gag when the first part of the conversation was tabled.
....you do not demonstrate commitment to principles. You demonstrate commitment to your own self importance and being an asshole, and worse: being loud about it. I…
Thank you! This is not the story of a brave guy who was censored. it’s the story of a low level grunt trying to make decisions above his pay grade and getting pissy when he was told to get back in his lane.
“I wanted to make a statement,” localization specialist Tom Lipschultz wrote in an e-mail. “I don’t think it’s right to make any change, no matter how minor, for the purpose of ‘sanitizing’ a game.”
