ok, I have not wondered that much about the toilet. What benefit would come out of a redesign? Change for change's sake is not really reasonable.
I agree, as a whole package, it looks pretty good. However, yes, I am pretty much stuck on freestanding, and I also like the paradigm with having the poles on the outside. I just bought a Kilo2P recently, but only after failing to find a light tent by a renowned company which has the poles on the outside. I cannot…
Also, from what I heard, Cuben is pretty susceptible to abrasion. Anyway, there is a Mojo2 from Sierra Designs with 1.42 kg and a more conventional outer material; that one doesn't look half bad.
and here I thought the Easton Kilo that I bought a week ago for 400 euros was already quite expensive. I stand corrected. I dig the exo-skeleton of the Mojo (which is what I am missing in the Kilo) but i am not willing to pay an additional 1400 for that. However my old tent (a Jack Wolfskin Termite from 1993) had it,…
ummm - "The current rumor now ramping through the internet is so dumb, so painfully stupid" that Gizmodo has to dedicate an entire article to it. And I just guess it is "romping" (or "ramping up on...") to ingratiate myself even more with The Jesus.
The prices are prohibitively high, but if they came down, it could be used for charging. It can carry 10 Watts currently (somebody enlighten me about the voltage - firewire had 12 V) and with notebooks and their power requirements coming down and the interfaces going up, maybe having a thunderbolt cable for charging…
yeah, killing the patient effectively destroy every disease.
"I firmly believed that he had lost his passion for winning" -lost his marbles, more likely. But whatever rocks your boat, mate.

now I need to look for my vomit bags...
That's taking hacking maybe a bit too literally. Did he kill the proxy first?

Yeah, it's an interesting thought, but Apple's new approach is more like having an electric car and gluing the hood shut so that you have to either exchange the entire engine compartment if you just need to exchange some battery cells, or buy a new car right away.
well, there are smokers who live a hundred years. See my comment above. And good for you, if you are the kind of computer user who does not need to change his machine in 6 years, but other people need a hardware update every now and then, welcome to the 21st century.
Ummm, you are not so clever either. I have had a PowerBook 100, 145, 190, a 5300, WallStreet, Pismo, two 12"s and now a MacBook 13" unibody (the last with an easily user-exchangeable battery).
They're essentially making their stuff unrepairable, and there is no amount of whatever they reckon they are doing better that can fix this. They are stretching their reality-distortion field beyond the limits.
ummm, now that you mention it... well, actually, no. I don't find it particularly funny, nor good, nor bad, nor boobsy, just meh.
Imagine yourself in a similar situation. Sometimes it simply takes some time to let the magnitude of events seep in. Plus, Russians like vodka.
