So the longest range Taycan will have a real life range of 250 miles at best. That’s not what the market expects these days.

Both Tanya and you use the wrong examples. Flights US to London are not “long”. It’s 6-8 hours with at least 2-3 used up by takeoff, meal service, and landing. Even in business class you won’t get more than 4 hours of sleep. So you get the large seat but don’t really get much benefit out of it. Your first day in…
It is a well known concern for any X6 owner that their car is not visible enough on the road.
2010 135i (last month of N54 production) here: outside of the stuff any BMW wants, there was a persistent issue with clogging A/C drain, the blower motor went (this is a dashboard disassembly, tons of money in labor - fortunately done under warranty), and the engine has to be walnut blasted every 30-40K. Otherwise,…
I’m not sure how to use a plural here: Captains Obvious or Captain Obviouses?
Confirmed. This is a 4000lbs family sedan that has been proven to make at least one C6 Z06 owner laugh like a baby. Tall drivers will feel extremely comfortable in it too.
At 80mph you’re not going to get to the claimed range no matter the temperature outside so you’ll be fine in the summer but really pushing it in the winter. If you drop to 70-75mph you’ll be fine in any season.
Since 2005 and until I bought a Model 3, I owned BMWs exclusively. The other car in the family is a 135i. Have plenty of seat time in a friend’s C6 Z06. Outside of a race track, the driving experience in my dual motor non-P is head and shoulders above everything I’ve driven in my life. The only reason I can still…
There are two Ws that matter:
EU (WLTP) Z4 is B58B30M1 with 250kW, US (non-WLTP) Z4 is B58B30O1 with 285kW. It’s that simple.
This is some quality BS about the engines.
Replace the boring cottage cheese with good tvorog from your nearest Russian grocery, and your advice is basically what millions of Eastern Europeans have been having for breakfast for ages.
All US models will have AWD as either optional (228i) or standard (M235i).
You do know that even this yellow is a BMW color, right? Atacama Yellow to be precise, used on Z4 a decade ago.
The question in the title: if you have to ask you don’t belong here.
M8 and M8 Competition will have the same power output as the current M5 and M5 Competition. 650hp is wishful thinking.
Competition will be its own model and will likely be available at the same time as the other variants.
To clarify, the rwd vs awd is not exactly a choice BMW will have to make, we will likely get both.
This car will NOT be sold in the U.S.
This is exactly what I posted on Bimmerpost like a year ago, but only had to use just a single sentence instead of this drawn-out part number by part number comparison.
And I don’t even want to think how long it took you without direct SQL access to ETK’s transbase data...
