Oooh, I love trolling Savers/Goodwill/Whatever thrift store for good bags. Pick the one closest to an old/posh neighborhood or pick the biggest/flagship and go during a non-weekend (Friday afternoons are good for me, especially Goodwill, because that’s when they stock up for the big weekend influx).

In the same boat, because on top of saving for a regular week+ vacation for just myself, I know have to budget in at least a week to go visit my family thousands of miles away at least once a year. Sigh. Well, I chose my location, I guess I gotta deal with it.

Aw, kitty snaggle toof! I love it! The family cat has the same thing, and it only comes out when she gets the cute, googly round pupils.

I’ve officially had the flu 3 times in 4 months. I freaking hate my body, but I hate other people more...

To defend people who think there could be someone better to represent Chronic Lyme, I’ve known two people who claimed to have Lyme Disease (not sure if chronic). They were both consistently, on a day-to-day basis, the worst people I’ve ever known. Just not even pain-related. They were ten-faced, backstabbing,

It looks awesome, and I totally put peas in my carbonara because I also feel guilty about the no-veggie thing. :)

My local Goodwills have surplus Target stuff, and I found a bottle of Laneige Balancing Emulsion that usually costs around $25 for only $3! The top dispenser spout was missing, but I can still get the emulsion fluid out pretty easily. Plus it’s great for hot, humid nights.

Dammit. I have well over 45 perfumes of varying prices and quality...I DID NOT need to be reminded about these damn perfume sample sites (even though I knew they existed).

True, but it’s close. Not as raunchy, which actually helps “She’s the Man” a bit because it’s not even trying to be realistic, really.

Yup, graduated 10 years ago, didn’t see this movie until well into my 20s, and still love it. I didn’t want to, trust me. But I busted out laughing and by the carnival scene, I was into it. So funny.

Thanks for the rec! Hoping to get a Kindle on sale sometime soon and read more! :)

Will probably be stuck in the grays, but does anyone have any Time Travel Romance book recommendations. I’ve read only two (in only the past week!) so far: A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux and Must Love Breeches by Angela Quarles. Am just starting Must Love Chainmail by Quarles because I loved Breeches so

I feel like a bad feminist, but my first reaction after reading all this is, “Thank goodness it wasn’t Alex Turner so I can still enjoy the Arctic Monkeys while not being impressed at all by the Last Shadow Puppets”.

Amen. Shit like vaccines exist for certain diseases for a REASON. I mean, I hate the American medical system and think there’s A LOT wrong with a lot of it, but shit...if you or a loved one is so sick and not getting better, no matter what disease it is, why would you not try ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING, including a damn

Things happening in my boring life this weekend:

Yeah, a lot of the recipes...I’m wondering if people actually make them. I love me some baked goods, sugar, cheese, fried foods...but damn, I just can’t do a lot of these foods, even if I only eat a little myself and give the rest to co-workers.

I love the kitty Emily pics every week! Thanks for sharing!

Cute little soft paws! :)

30 is when I decided to pack up my savings accounts and wave goodbye to my well-paying-but-go-nowhere job and move thousands of miles away. And while it’s been really rough, financially and professionally, I’ve grown my job skills and learned so many life lessons and met so many great friends along the way that

I always look at “People who viewed this also viewed...”, which is basically the same thing. Sometimes I don’t know exactly what search terms to use to look for the thing I’m looking for, and the “also viewed” category is extremely helpful.
