eeeewww. I don’t even want to know what’s on the cloth (CLOTH!!!!) seats of BART (SF Bay Area). I’m already afraid to sit down, it’s hard to tell if it’s stain or if the seat is wet.

Depends on how often digital_ruse takes Uber...
I found out my situation is resolving itself next week. The house guest is hopping on a plane and going back home.
Oh my gosh. I thought this was my post at first.
Fair enough. I would rather listen to Dusty over Meghan any day though. Actually, I would prefer to listen to Dusty over most recording artists....
What about Dusty Springfield?
Hahahaha, that’s my worst nightmare!!
I sit next to our twitter person. I get so stressed out for her because of social media. We are not a large tech company by any means. Our twitter person checks it once or twice a day to respond to tweets and maybe make a post. Most days we have no tweets. Every once in a while a customer tweets at 2am and then sends…
I’ll support you on this one. Before I went veg I only ate well done beef. What’s worse, is I liked the cheap parts of the meat (it’s what my single mom could afford) well done. THEN I would cover it all in steak sauce. It was all about the texture for me. I just love the texture of a well done steak.
I ran into a former ASTL a few months ago (I hadn’t worked with this dude in 8 years) and he actually remembered me by name. In a store with 200+ people i was pretty impressed.
Cripes!!!! I worked at 5 stores across the country (one giant benefit of being an awesome employee was being able to transfer to a different store out of state) and the largest store I worked at had 250 people, around 100 in prep foods.
When I worked there the pay was fair (above fair, in my opinion) and they paid for benefits. Also 20% discount, on top of freebies here and there.
Star because I used to work at WF and would help the SSI with this task. When I noticed that the produce team wasn’t weighing every container of cut fruit I flipped. Fortunately my store manager actually CARED about this stuff and we got the problem corrected.
Hah, yep! I was just thinking the same thing.
I just got back from Scandinavia and couldn’t believe how much people loved hot dogs! Especially Copenhagen. There were several places for hot dogs in the airport.
that’s fantastic. I’m going to start doing that. The funny thing is.. where I live it’s probably true. Everybody smokes a lot of weed.
I went ahead and hit play against my better judgement. The only way to recover is to listen to the album Jazz in its entirety.
This conversation sparked a good chat with my female coworkers. One said she experiences it in her neighborhood, which makes her (very much understandably) more uncomfortable than random public transit encounters. I have never felt so relieved to be unnoticed in my life.
Oh, I’m sure it’s weird and uncomfortable. I am definitely NOT complaining that it doesn’t happen to me. I do find the spectrum of who it happens to interesting. In a sociological way, not in a catty way.
HAHAH! My friend gave me a cookie once, and I stupidly ate the entire thing. I know better than that! The cookie was so damn good I just forgot for a half second and ate the entire thing.
