I’ve heard about this issue a couple of times today, but no article has bothered to fully articulate the problem other than “dodgy deals were made”.
This article goes on and on and never really details what the sponsorship issue actually is. Oh, they filmed here, then there was a strike, which is over, none of which is relevant to the story.
I had been a State Fraud customer for years, up until about 2 months ago. When we did even the slightest bit of comparison shopping for rates and alternatives, they are comparatively awful. And yeah they have a goddawful track record for honoring claims too.
Well first of all, why even offer a million dollar policy in the first place, and then how are you gonna fight so hard to not pay the million and then end up paying many times that? lol
it’s like saying “no offense, but...” and then saying the most offensive thing they can muster up

They’re just looking at the short-term over the long-term. Sell me what I want at a fair price without dicking around and I’ll probably be back.
I get that there’s less incentive to sell an EV, but it seems to me it’d be better to help the customer buy what they want instead of letting them walk and go to someone else.
