I’ve been flying 100+ flights a year for more than 25 years. The airlines have not really gotten worse on average - some things are slightly better, some things are slightly worse. It has gotten a *hell* of a lot cheaper. People have gotten WAAY more entitled, and everybody has a camera and a soapbox so you hear…
If anyone wants a Slogan for our era, here it is:
The interiors are also really nice. More like an entry level Lexus than a Toyota, and more interesting than what Honda is doing. Doesn’t hold a candle to Mazda, but they’re now in another price bracket altogether.
I’m slowly becoming a fan of this generation Prius. Having owned a 2004 which murdered any future prius purchases for me, this is a big step.
I dropped the hate right when the latest gen Prius came out. Damn thing looks slick as fuck! I'll have to drive one, but I'm seriously considering a Prime when I turn in the Polestar next year.
So, exactly why are you here at Jalopnik?
If you’ve flown recently you wouldn’t be surprised to hear this. Airports in general are the worst place to start and being an a cramped airlplane (because they are all over sold now days) is just not going to get any better than it was previously. People are rude and selfish... It just sucks to fly. I’ve been flying…
Good looking, good handling, decent performance, 30k, we need more EVs like this!
I know it sounds a little silly, but if you have a Redbox near you, you might be able to find a copy there (DVD or Blu-ray) for purchase, not rental, for $3.99. I know, it’s passe’ to actually watch physical media these days, but on the other hand, it’ll likely be there on your shelf if it gets taken off Netflix or…
I despise Elon Musk and all he touches, but this isn’t really a ding against Tesla, IMO. So long as you are extracting value from what you have purchased, depreciation is a purely academic concern. If you pay price X for a car, and own it for years Y, is the value of X divided by Y an acceptable rate to pay for having…
Chrysler has a CEO? Who does what, exactly? Sells Voyagers to Hertz? Is she only part-time or something? No hate to Christine at all, but I can’t think of a single brand except maybe Lancia that has less going on.
Yeah he did this to himself, and it was entirely unnecessary. It’s a bit Trumpian, honestly. All he wants is for people to adore him! Because his father (or mother) didn’t! That’s all this boils down to.
His downward spiral also dovetails with his breakup with Grimes and his estrangement from his daughter. Romantic breakups and family strife tend not to be good for mental health.
In fairness, that looks like taco sauce.
Nobody is beyond help. But the first step to getting help, is acknowledging that you need help.
Between no commenting on Deadspin or The Root, the “suspension” of Jezebel, and all the broken shit of Kinja, who knows how long things go before getting the big plug pulled.
I feel like it is about to be out of date. Hopefully I can think up another stupid screen name before Jalopnik gets the axe too.
