To think, Collin had every opportunity to decide not to write that, yet still went with it.

I hand-timed the video from the car encountering the backside of the first parking space to the bollard. I did it 10 times, with an average of 0.70 seconds. On Google, that distance is about 76 feet. That is 108 fps, or 74 mph.

Everything.

As another Fit owner and aficionado, I wholly concur.

We suspect she may have been worried about the cost of treatment, but we can’t say that definitively.”

He wanted to see if it would fit.

It’s a testament to the Fit that the driver and passenger survived this at all.

Good thing it wasn’t a 9,000 lb EV truck

That appears to be a lighting bollard and not a concrete bollard. Light bollards are connected to the ground much weaker than concrete bollards.

Pretty curious to see what the toxicology report of the driver will yield.

As a former Fit owner and (still) a Fit aficionado, I was gonna say- for all their qualities, they are not, uh, fast cars.

Which one shouted "ramming speed" on the exit ramp?

The offramp basically points right at the front of the building.  And, according to the source article, people had reported the vehicle to police for driving erratically just prior to the... incident.

Speaking as a Fit owner and aficionado, you would have to have had that gas pedal pinned for a solid 20 seconds to get that much speed out of it. They had to have flown off a road somewhere, because there’s no way it could’ve gotten that much speed in a parking lot that small.

First, thank you for an insightful comment instead of some of the dull-witted trash through the rest of this thread.

He was a son from Logan’s first wife.

Ruck is definitely playing younger in Succession, and it works because he does not look late 60s.

I was a bit surprised also because the other Roy kids in Succession are in their late thirties to mid forties. My guess is that Ruck’s character was supposed to be in his fifties as an early-on “oops.”

Alan Ruck is 67?!?
