22 half-brothers.  Wow.  Dad was busy.

One day, the fob that grants access to enter and exit the garage malfunctioned. My husband and I were effectively trapped... It was a stark reminder that for as much as we pay in rent, we’ve only bought temporary access to this building. We don’t control whether our key fobs will continue to grant us access to

It depends on the environment you live in as to how the infrastructure is built and maintained. Me in the north eastern part of Texas, it’s part of the great plains. So while there is generally NOTHING to look at. It gets HOT and COLD for long periods with tornadoes and violent storms of one kind or another in

Michigander here: we can cover the spread from insanely hot to insanely cold. So we’re gonna keep mocking Southern states, thanks. ;)

Yup!

See, this is why I appreciate my MileagePlus status. It’s written in the fine print that you have to defeat someone at the next tier above you in hand-to-hand combat to move up. I’ve spent quarantine training my body and mind to take on all challengers as I work my way to Global Services, Mortal Kombat-style.

The real complaint from most people really is “why should my tax dollars be used for something I don’t care about?”

This guy hosts...

Seems like they should be UAW and non UAW lots really.

Also, I know that were aren’t in the Phone Charger Wild West of 2004, but there are still three different charging ports that someone may have - it would be absurd for a guest to get mad at a host for not having an iPhone charger when they don’t have any iPhones.

That’s a lot of stuff to bring. I get that you want to be respectful but it’s like you’re moving in.

Wanker can’t wrap his mind around the concept of INCOME tax. Also capital gains tax incurs on disposal of stocks which I highly doubt Buffett is doing. Furthermore, the man paid all what was due to to be paid. Don’t hate the player... Lastly, the dude is fucking 91 and still has an active role in managing one of the

the thing that got me into the habit was accepting that I’m not like the Rock or the meat-heads that are always there. I’m not going to be a bodybuilder, and that’s ok.
Perfect is the enemy of good.

I understand what you are saying, but I don’t think it is that simple.

For me, the key to establishing a gym habit was removing barriers.

Faulty internal clock? That’s why there’s a massive array of technological advances with external clocks and alarms. Psychologists will never cease in making up “disorders” to diagnose and “work on.” No conflict of interest there.

Hematologist/oncologist here. Not at all like cancer. Lots of things can cause masses in the human body - infections (bacteria, fungi, parasites), inflammatory conditions (sarcoidosis), hematomas, etc. So to call a ball of parasites cancer-like really goes against most scientific and lay understandings of cancer.

This is not at all like cancer. Perhaps it can masquerade as cancer and fool people into thinking the patient has cancer which is why biopsy is virtually always necessary to diagnose cancer but just because it causes tumors doesn’t make it like cancer in any substantive way. Tumor is just Latin for swelling or mass.
