wth is ‘creepypasta’

ah, we found it. the one person who actually reads the poems and songs in high fantasy novels.

i dont know what kind of network switch i have, i set it up 2 years ago and its somewhere under my desk and i havent had any cause to look at it or do anything with it since, which im pretty sure means i picked the right one.

i guess the main thing is ‘whats the fine print say’.  a lot of 0% loans have language that basically make it a trap, one wrong move and you’re on the hook for a crazy interest rate applied retroactively from the start of the loan.

“Do you think you would be able to bowl a 300 with bumpers?”

look if you dont want to watch these guys shows, and you think other people shouldnt want to watch these guys shows, that’s fine. probably a lot of people feel the same way, even i do.

yeah seriously, and honestly if you look closely it was a shoulder hit predominantly.  he did everything he could possibly do to avoid the penalty, other than just stepping aside and letting the guy run past, but still got called.

its not about hitting the ball carrier’s helmet, its about not hitting with your own helmet.

and yet the professionals who do this 80h/wk, with support staff, research teams, specialized software, decades of experience, still fail to beat the market... but im sure you’ve got the trick that’s eluded them for all these years.

ah so you’re interested in trying to beat the market by picking individual stocks.  good luck with that.

sure, but it’s still a matter of how much the market has increased between now and the next big drop, and how much that next big drop is.  if the bull run continues for another 3 years and is up 30-40% and then the drop is only 20%, you’d have been better off with that money invested.  people have been calling for an

i dont think there’s any reason to assume that because he had a gun in a car, it was because he planned ahead so that he could shoot people if he lost. maybe he always has a gun in his car.

well some dude bit off his opponents ear for losing a game of “mike tyson’s punch out”, so this seems like a logical progression

im pretty sure its on purpose to make it ‘slightly harder but not actually hard’ to find what you want, so you have to scroll through some of their suggestions. same reason grocery stores put dairy in the back corner, so you have to walk through other rows to get there and hopefully make some impulse purchases.

keep in mind nobody knows when the next drop happens and how much it will be, if its not for 2+ years you might very well have lost a lot of money by not investing along the way.

“for 6 months, fired immediately”  doesnt sound that immediate.

“which now busies itself suspending those unpaid football players when they dare try to make money.” Can we stop pretending like it’s the NCAA/school that were in the wrong here?

less revenue for the IRS [to collect], this should have been quite clear in context.

im not sure its that terrible to use the handicap stall. i mean it certainly seems like ‘oh no i have to wait a min to use the restroom’ is an acceptable level of inconvenience for anyone, especially someone who is already sitting down (not that all handicapped people have wheelchairs of course, but in this scenario

oh gosh. we had a kitchen in college, but it was really just the place with the fridge. and the fridge was the cold place with the beer. at no point during my entire senior year was the kitchen even remotely usable for cooking or eating.
