dont you have thingies on the F and J to ground your hands?

My wife says ‘jimmy-rig’, and every time i tell her ‘jimmy doesnt rig anything! he’s never rigged anything, he wouldnt even know where to begin! jerry rigs everything!’ she says it’s a midwest thing and i say ‘i grew up in the midwest too’ and she says ‘pittsburgh isnt the midwest!!’ and i say ‘well its sure as hell

it really isnt a crappy argument. until you have kids you have literally no idea. your comment proves this.

i wonder if people will eventually revolt on microtransactions and we’ll eventually go back to just buying games and being able to play them without pay-to-progress carrots dangling everywhere.

... ? i don’t run into assholes all day, it’s this one specific post i made where everyone commenting seems to be super duper angry.

you seem to have willfully missed the point of the comment you’re responding to. also i conceded the point about this save, like 5 hours ago.

yeah seriously, they prepared that food specifically to save you the effort since they know you have a newborn baby and things are hectic enough as is. having to sit down, write a note, mail the note, entirely defeats the purpose.

jesus christ, when you give someone a gift you’re seriously doing it with the understanding that the person will then sit down and be thoughtful about how appreciative they are for your gift?

lol, chill bro. i’m just a random internet stranger who you think is wrong. take it down a notch.

well, batters swing after the pitch is thrown....

yes i conceded the point in my response to your original comment.

you might have to spell it out for me. the stick was where it was before the puck was even shot, so....

are you talking about Freddie or Fleury, because i dont know why we’d still be talking about Freddie right now, we’re on the same page.

i literally gave him credit. “so he deserves a lot of credit” i did that purposely to distinguish this scenario from the greater point im making about how a lot times the goalie literally does nothing but still the announcers rave and rant about the amazing save the goalie made, for example fleury (one of my favorite

sure that’s fair. i really have no problem with getting super amped about this save, its awesome and lucky and that’s fine. this was perhaps a bad context for me to voice my annoyance with announcer coverage of goalies, since it’s not at all the scenario im thinking of in that.

goalie is for sure a hard position, it’s one of my favorite positions to watch for sure. and 100% there’s a lifetime of developed skills, knowledge/awareness and muscle memory that allows goalies to be in the correct position as much as they are.

i’ve watched it plenty. it’s very incredibly lucky. him following the puck with his eyes doesnt change the fact the puck happened to go where his paddle was the entire time. if the puck had been shot anywhere other than the exact place he happened to have his stick, no way he would have gotten to it in time, despite
