Makes sense. I wonder if my dislike was the fact that A) I don’t like youtube or B) my friend’s wife kept putting on weird K-Pop dance instruction videos that were being critiqued by other people. It was weird and extremely off-putting.

I kind of agree, but more because the idea of these people having a plan makes me feel like the plan can always be countered or handled.

Huh. I went to a dinner party at a friends where people were doing the exact same thing. As someone who generally doesn’t turn on the TV when more than 1 other person is with me, I found this behavior absolutely infuriating.

Maybe they were secretly hoping to infect F&F fans, specifically.

1) Most of these people, like many right leaning political affiliates, only seek/believe the information that fits their agenda/ideals. So, I want what I want, here’s what makes me right; while the intelligent of us are willing to alter our beliefs/actions based on science/data/experience.

As they paraded out with their heads down, not one turned around with even so much as a quick, “Hey sorry bout all that.”

Are you referring to Nihilist Arby’s?

Also, as with a lot of the things he says and tweets when he’s all up in a huff, I find myself wondering what broken ass version of English he’s trying to use.

...or exercising in any way.

Suggestions? Looking for something similar in functionality to VLC (and as versatile) but not as clunky as WMP.

Does this include public facetiming without headphones?

This is usually our method - come up with a dish or two we’re interested in, then ask which are the server’s favorite or most popular, and if one is in the suggestions, boom - “I’ll do that.” If we’re not in a rush, we want to enjoy the experience and it’s sometimes fun to talk to the waitstaff about the food.

I’ve seen them maybe a dozen times since 2000. I like their older stuff, but as a pop-punk guy, their new stuff is a bit more fun to me.

I’ve lived in CT, Philly, Baltimore, and Charlotte.

This is why I keep trying to defend that there really is no more significant distinction between the North and the South in terms of racism! Since I moved to NC 5 years ago, I’ve without question seen as many stories about racism up North as down here.

Find a Title I school. Work there for 5 years. Get loans forgiven.

1) One man cannot illicit changing the mindset of such a large swath of the population who possess a 150 year old superiority complex. It took a long time immersed in the culture of the south to break my own habit of thinking that way.

I really think we need to re-examine the whole “South vs North” thing. At this point, while many southern states are still quite conservative, the Mid-West seems to be taking on the role that people have been considering “the South.”

No.  That’s more instinctual, because it’s all of us.

Let’s be honest... anyone without a direct financial tie to one of those states can ABSOLUTELY live a full and excellent life without setting foot in any of them. And there’s a whole bunch of states you can add to that list.
