I didn’t mind the Thor stuff but mainly for the characterization of Thor being kind of broken after all the stuff that’s happened to him (from his perspective, he’s gone through the events of Ragnorok and Infinity War back to back - the guy must be shattered!). I did appreciate that when he finally did get the new

Hoping he says “Drat!” in Endgame

I think they’ll do a “new” Avengers consisting of Black Panther, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange and Valkyrie now that it looks like the original team is throwing in the towel. Seems like a risk but two of those have helmed billion dollar movies so I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Yeah I didn’t bother with any of them after that, despite loving DD and Jessica Jones.

Infinity War has no right being as good as it is. With that many characters and that many plotlines to converge at once, it should be a total mess. But it’s really enjoyable and has become one of my favourite Marvel films. I love how tonally bleak it is compared to others in the series and it’s really impressive how

Yeah, looks great but the title is so off-putting.

Be funny if this ended up being a really great, violent lyrical masterpiece. A triumph.

Helen Mirren auditioned to play bass for Metallica after Cliff Burton died. It’s in Some Kind of Monster.

A wizard etc

Think he was about 24 when this was filmed? which is crazy

Yeah he’s so much better. That’s a guy who’s done some shit. The new one just doesn’t work.

Must say I never liked the new casting of the Mountain. He’s fucking massive and scary looking, obviously, but just looks too young to be the older brother of the Hound. I preferred the guy from season 1, when the Mountain and the Hound come to blows during the jousting tournament

In hindsight those scenes are quite sad as Tommen is obviously head over heels. To be fair if I was married to Natalie Dormer and she got blown up in a magical fire I’d jump out the window as well

The Greywind death is very sad. I’ve not read the books beyond the first but apparently there he goes out in a blaze of glory, bit of a shame that didn’t happen in the show

Wish I had her optimism

If Regrettably Dull has a name, it must be....

For me there’s a pretty clear dividing line between seasons, with 1-4 being the peak and 5-8 being a bit disappointing (unless 8 ends up being terrific, in which case I’d love to be proved wrong). I’m absolutely still watching, but yeah. I think my main issue is that the quality of the dialogue seemingly went out the

That happened at the end of season 1 ;)

The little look Roose Bolton gives to Catelyn when she pulls back his sleeve to reveal the chainmail is my favourite Game of Thrones moment ever

Can’t read Jon Snow without thinking “Jon SNERRR” because of these scenes
