Weird how they’re all like 30 now
Weird how they’re all like 30 now
I have a feeling that this is setting up an ending which suggests that while Dany might have “broken the wheel”, she’s just going to replace it with another wheel and start the cycle of “mad Targaryen that needs to be taken down” again.
Completely agree. It’s why season 1 is still one of my favourites of the show, as (like the book) it plays like a Medieval murder mystery wrapped in political intrigue. For me personally, that’s way more interesting than the Walkers.
Log off, Jay.
Whilst they do foreshadow it very early on, I also have an issue with the primary antagonist of the series from about season 5 onwards being these ice zombies that have previously had a combined 5 minutes of screentime. They’re just not as interesting as the human villains, most of whom have been killed off already.
That’s fine, but doesn’t make it less boring. There are plenty more interesting places without people that they could have a scrap in. My issue it’s just so grey
Sorry, the comment got Kinja’d! Was meant to be a reply to another post.
I like Civil War a lot but I still don’t know why they chose to have the big action set piece in a boring abandoned airport. Visually it’s incredibly dull which is odd for a film that stars so many superheroes.
Did not know Timothy Dalton was in Doom Patrol. Definitely earned a watched from me
You here all sorts of stories from cinema employees who were working when this came out. 8-year-olds being taken out of the screen traumatised by parents ignoring the warnings. Very bizarre behavior
You are actually Glenn Close, I’m now certain of it.
She was in the Cambridge Footlights with them to be fair, which is not something you can just walk into. Being friends with them helped, but she’s gotten there by merit.
Very strange take. Colman has done loads of drama, and has been consistently excellent even when she only did comedy. The idea that if you’re in a sitcom, you can’t then go on to win an Oscar is ludicrous. Some of the best actors ever have been comedy performers. She was never, ever known as “an okay comic actress”.
Like the billion dollar + grossing Black Panther?
Katie?
I can agree with that. I’d also say that the whole thing probably falls apart without Keaton.
It’s weirdly refreshing because you can sort of let your mind forget about previous entries and just enjoy whats happening in front of you
I want to agree with Tom that Birdman is pretentious Hollywood-baiting nonsense but...I honestly think it’s great.
I liked Days of Future Past. It’s the batshit insanity that is comic continuity laid bare on the screen. It’s the most comic-book comic book movie possible.
Isn’t even 2009 a bit late for Second Life and World of Warcraft references?
