You make a good point that many video game adaptations are pointless thanks to a lot of game cribbing from movies in the first place. However I think you could take that idea and use it to make a half-decent video game film.

It’s weird because I don’t remember people pissing their pants about Sisko or Janeway or whoever else, maybe because it was easier to ignore morons thanks to the lack of social media.

It’s odd isn’t it? It’s like when you find out there are right-wing Star Trek fans

They already remade Goldeneye with Skyfall

Sorry, I meant 2-pinter of beer break

From Thor’s perspective he’s had a really shitty couple of days. Guy deserves a tea break in Endgame

Don Cheadle in Ocean’s Eleven for me.

Pretty sure this fellow also loves the Star Wars prequels so take from that what you will.

Wish they’d kept Ultron as the messed up Iron Man suit that he is when you first see him, was way creepier than his newer form.

How do you then explain the scenes were they’re on their own yet still appear to be fighting? It’s fine if you like it but it’s clear there’s a discrepancy between how it’s edited and how it’s written/acted.

Been wondering why I don’t remember anything from season 7, but I’ve realised that it aired at the same time as Twin Peaks: The Return and that took up the majority of my mind.

Seeing him having to sort stuff out as Tony was really neat, and I kind of wish the movie didn’t feel the need to have the obligatory big CGI fight at the end because the best bits are when he’s stranded in the small town with the kid.

Love Iron Man 3. Arguably the first instance of proper directorial flair coming through the MCU and I thought the Mandarin stuff was quite clever. I can see why it’s divisive, but personally it’s one of my favourite entries.

I think in terms of your average movie-going Joe when thinking about Marvel characters, it was Spider-Man, X-Men then everything else. A few years before this, Avengers probably couldn’t have done as big business as it did without throwing Spidey and Wolverine in there.

Leftovers would be a good candidate for this list and one of the reasons it actually stuck the landing was that its central mystery (“what happened to the people that disappeared”) was never really a priority for the show like it was on Lost. Nora explains what happened, but whether you believe her or not is up to

Agreed. It feels though at some point they thought up some “big moments” for each season then wrote the story around them, because that’s what they feel is the big draw of the show. They’re probably right about about that, but it’s meant a drop in quality all the same.

That will probably happen in season 8.

It’s blatantly Starlord’s fault. The guy sucks.

Well that’s good. I assumed that he’d be off alongside RDJ and Evans.

The first 2 Thor movies being kind of dull makes me wish Hemsworth was sticking around longer, as it feels like the character is only just hitting his stride.
