Probably stating the obvious, but Olyphant’s performance in “The Girl Next Door” is one for the ages. The scene with him chatting up the bank teller is just amazing.

I share Mike Schur’s straight guy crush on Timothy Olyphaunt. Justified came out right as I was entering the professional world, which is why to this day I still wear boots, dark plaid shirts tucked into Levis 501s, and square skinny ties. Raylan Givens is just so fucking cool.

The Olyphant cameo was hilarious! Honestly though, he’s great in everything, such a horrible shame Santa Clarita Diet was cancelled, him and Drew Barrymore were absolutely brilliant together in that.

I expected something like that door leading to Justified set or something since they wanted to draw Gen’s attention and distract her from looking for the clicker. Something like dancing in Disco Janet’s void distracted her for a while. But I didn’t expect them to actually get Timothy Olyphant to do a cameo. That was

I really hope they manage to squeeze in a Bortles before the show ends, especially now that he’s got more time on his hands.

When Janet mentioned she had an idea, I immediately let out a “no fucking way” and got the glare from my wife. I was so let down when Gen went through the door to just them. And then....

Olyphant was phenomenal, but now I have visions of Coach Taylor giving the Judge a rousing speech:

Timothy Olyphant is a national treasure. We should have him declared a historical landmark.

That would’ve been great too, but he’s gotten a bit heavier and looks a little different. Timothy Olyphant looks exactly the same.

If they’d gotten Kyle Chandler, Chidi wouldn’t have needed to come up with a new afterlife because Coach would have just given Gen a stern rousing speech to convince her not to destroy humanity.

His second “Aaaaaaah!” delivered after the camera has cut away from him was funnier than most entire recent episodes of this show.

“Has Olivia Wilde had a successful project since she was the fourth lead on House?”

She wrote and directed one of the most highly acclaimed movies of the year, you ignorant fuck. 97% on rotten tomatoes. Several awards already and over a dozen more nominations. So YES, she HAS.

“Does she have a producer credit or something? Or is it literally an actor being taken to task for the way the movie portrays her character?”

No.

And here’s the other thing: NOBODY FUCKING ASKED HER TO DEFEND THE MISOGYNIST PORTRAYAL OF THE REPORTER, but she fucking did anyway.

Her initial comments did sound like she was saying people were being sexist by pointing out the movie is sexist, but the real headline is that I’m so shocked everybody is blaming the woman who didn’t write or edit the film instead of the Clint Eastwood who did.

You have no idea what it’s like to spend all of your waking life dealing with what really is petty bullshit. It really is just petty bullshit, but it’s constant petty bullshit. Sometimes it gets to be too much.

Shameless totally blew the opportunity to have a sort of _Orange is the New Black_ prison side story. Noel Fisher is the best actor in that whole cast, if you ask me, and that could have been interesting.

Nice thought but he’s never going to resign. The second he becomes regular-ass citizen Trump again, he’s going to jail and he knows it.

Legion went the same direction. Rape is a horrible thing, but does it have to be the big bad motivating trope of every TV show I watch? I mean, if we found out his dad beat him everyday but only sexually molested him once, the beatings would have nothing against the rape, which I do not understand because both of

Man, I don’t know. This episode was very well done, but I think I kind of hate the twist. It feels like it kind of ruins the show in retrospect. It’s always been super dark, but watching Eliot work all this time with a recreation of his father who was raping him during childhood is a step over the line into something

I do. For that one day, I am truly the center of the universe and love seeing people inconvenience themselves for my amusement.
