Yep. I lost my Dad too and I have zero interest in watching this ep and in fact won’t be. I’ll read about it and see if there’s any scenes to skip to on Hulu but otherwise...nah.

This was def a case where fan commentary on twitter, etc. built it up into this “thing.” The creator said last year he didn’t expect it to turn into such a big Thing (tm) but sadly the show really leaned into it this season which I would have preferred they not do.

I’m as big a fan of Sherlock (I guess technically the first two seasons really, and then scattered moments) but they should just wait a while intentionally. If/when BC & MF’s careers ever die down a bit they can revisit the characters and honestly if Moffatt is nowhere near it that’s fine too, but BC & MF are great…

The bones are there. The chemistry and casting of the kids is great. They need to kill Jonah and have the parents do something truly evil at the beginning of S2, they way they’ve set it up now doesn’t even work plot wise, the parents and the kids are on the same side! *beats head against wall*

Especially since Jonah was kindof dead-ish at the beginning of the season and now he’s molting again. Wouldn’t they just, you know, NOT do a sacrifice this time? It makes no sense.

Completely agree with you and many others. If they knew the beats they wanted to hit in this final ep and end with them actually running away man oh MAN could they have done it sooooo much better.
