I respect the hell out of Urman and the show it just strikes me as odd, like you said.
I do think it's rather odd for a show runner to force themselves to do something. Like, she knew they wouldn't want to do it so she wrote it in so they'd have to do it?
This Q & A from Jennie explains their reasoning in addition to the tumblr post brendan mentions: http://www.hollywoodreporte…
I'm not saying the showrunners would care (why would you think that?), I'm saying that's where I as a viewer would have been based on the storylines at the end of last season. I didn't realize our comments were to the showrunners, I thought they were to each other so I wanted to place where I was at back when a show…
For me the next 2-3 episodes are the test. If they had killed off Micheal in the season finale I would've just been done with the show most likely, but they smartly did the time jump so I'm in for at least the next couple of episodes to see what they do and where all the characters are. I really wish the show had…
That was the theme for the Children's Hospital L.A. gala last fall.
Of course not, but they better have some damn good speeches written. I think it would be great if there was a coordinated effort from nominees or stylists or presenters to recognize perhaps different charities or causes. Yay!!!!!
What if God's name was Doug?

Yes, I have seen it again since this post and call it "La La Bland," so you comment made me chuckle. A lot of my friends are the same. I don't know anyone who LOVES it.
Thank you so much & thanks for the list!!
Well, I'm happy the show let Mickey be alive and safely in Mexico so that when the show inevitably ends they can add an Ian line about him going down to Mexico. So there's that.
Completely agree. It's overall pretty melancholy I think except for the summer whirlwind falling in love stuff.

My audience clapped after the opening number, which was technically amazing. Next time I'm stuck on the 105 LOOK OUT! That being said, no applause at the end whereas several other awards contenders I've seen had closing applause. Go figure.
