The 'hardcore' faction comes in with the analysis. Yes, the show is the same number of minutes to everyone who watches it, but there are literal books and academic essays, etc. etc. about 5 minutes scenes from the show. That where it comes in.

Did you see 'Mr.Holmes' and if so what did you think?
"Or did he actually have a sordid past, which his wife knew about, and used to manipulate him?" Holmes says this when they're in the LadyCultBasementThing, he turns to say basically that Lady Carmicheal is the only one that could've killed him & then the Moriarty shit starts again.
I knew (and you too, apparently) but many didn't once the opened the door a crack at the end of 'His Last Vow'. How many "Moriarty's back yay!" articles did I read? A lot. Thankfully (for my sanity at least) the door is now slammed shut.
hugs for you *hugs*
To me it did. It resolved that he's dead.
100% agree, Mycroft isn't going to send his baby brother off to certain death. He can't get him out of a murder charge but he can come up with something, and he did & this ep proved once again that S knows Mycroft is smarter than him.
I thought it was fun (and funny) and of course visually it was beautiful. I must admit I was also VERY glad because it seems Moriarty is now actually confirmed dead. Andrew Scott had a grand time, but the character needs to be dead so we can move on, especially since Moriarty's 'network' is still out there.
It's just one of those things, who knows why. Sherlock Holmes & John Watson have been beloved for 100+ years (I mean, how many fictional characters have museums/attractions based on them? Not many) but even I don't know why exactly this show is the "thing" it is. The fan base in China in particular is insane.
I think there is still much more to Mary than meets the eye and "our" modern-day Sherlock knows that, thus her behavior in Sherlock's mind palace. There are a lot of M's in canon - Moriarty, Mycroft & Moran (and Mary!), so that calling card with the big "M" really made me feel like Sherlock knows Mary may still be up…
the hipsters/just to look cool crowd still buy the passes so they don't care. They get the $ either way. It's just less actual physical people on the ground during the perf. For example, the Jack White headlining show this year was not very many people for a main stage headline act. It was great, though. They also…
the Mojave I'm thinking…
AC/DC this year was a amazing show and experience fwiw.
Same. I cannot get excited about this when my expectation is if it actually happened it wouldn't even be that good.
I think it's going to be both, then they need a hip-hop/r&b act for one night. My question is whether GNR gets Friday, Sat. or Sunday. AC/DC was Friday, Kanye was Sunday, I forget what night hologram Tupac was, I'm guessing Sunday because I was really tired.
I haven't liked Driver in anything else but he was tremendous in this.
I thought he had a twin brother or was a clone too. That was very weird. Why not have Finn see an ejection seat but not know where he was? It would've worked the same.
Or maybe because he's super hot.
and The Assassin didn't make the short list for whatever wacky ampas reason.
It's going to win no question.
