Yes, WOM is building and Netflix has said it has great worldwide numbers, moreso than its other shows and that it is rewatched more than most of its shows.

As potato said, they haven't yet but I've gotta think this was one of the more expensive shows, if not the most expensive.
I highly doubt the producers are willing to compromise. The show must be crazy expensive but the locations are one of the main reasons (at least for me) it works so well.
