That’s because the WiiU was designed to be backwards compatible with the Wii - and the Wii is pretty much a Gamecube on a small dose of steroids.

This is actually a bigger point than people realise when it comes to Android.

The Switch is comparable to a Jetson TX1 or an NVidia Shield TV (1st or 2nd gen, both use the same CPU). But the Switch has a much more optimised FreeBSD based operating system. Android - quite frankly - is a dumb choice for a dedicated games machine from a performance perspective (but a smart choice from other

It would make me incredibly happy if Nintendo made Zelda Maker as then we could see how they solved all the problems the concept of “Zelda Maker” has.

My comment that you are replying to literally mentions RPG Maker.

I don’t even think “a lot of us” would be fine with that...

I’d say that plaformers are much easier to design as everything the player needs to worry about is in-front of them on the screen in one moment (usually) - adventure games this is not the case (usually).

Probably too difficult from a design, marketing and direction standpoint, rather than a technical standpoint (where it’s obviously freaking easy).

I remember years back starting up a fresh save of Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced to show my friend the gist of it - and then I accidentally saved over my primary save file.

That’s not how it works. You can’t copyright gameplay, it’s just not possible as it’s anti-competitive (If Nintendo had a copyright on platformers, then Sonic wouldn’t exist).

This isn’t a “pirating method” - a pirating method would be telling you how you can illegally download games for free on the internet or rip your game discs and upload them to the internet.

Chris Redfield of Resident Evil 5 & Resident Evil 6 is that you???

US copyright has a 70 year expiration (without extensions, which may be granted). It would be until at least 2053 when NES ROMs start entering public domain, thats as long as no copyright extension is awarded.

What do you mean by this question?

Ah Crysis 1. The only game to have ever have surprised me with how good it actually is - after initially dismissing it as a tech-demo not worth my time.

The most effective, consistent use for Orisa I’ve seen is her placing the shield on the payload as an attacking team.
