You didn’t buy a Mac for gaming, that’s why you shouldn’t lump it with PC gaming in your comparison, that’s what I’m criticising of you here.

As much as I love Apple, a Mac is not for gaming at all. You shouldn’t bring a Mac into the equation for gaming, it’s called PC gaming for a pretty good reason.

F2P survives because of selling something, that’s software being sold right there.

That’s the thing, a console is no longer cheaper, you can build a PC that’s more powerful than a console for not too much more in price, that’s the problem that consoles face right now and that’s what analysts are looking at.

In the past it has not been higher and if PC users don’t shift then why would sales be any higher at all?

I think mobile gaming is the wrong place to look, there’s an entirely different audience over there who have very different standards to those who are gaming on PCs and console hardware. It’s like a completely different market over there.

There is a broader picture to look at, for one the PC gaming industry has exploded compared to the XBone and PS4 and there’s the manufacturing improvements over in the smartphone industry that makes consoles hardware overpriced within two years (yet feeds into PC hardware directly, hence PCs getting cheaper).

Gaming didn’t get started on the PC.

Consoles may change though, it isn’t too far fetched to imagine something similar to Android’s phone market where everyone is making an Android phone.

At the same time, it’s only video games. You’re living a pretty sad life if you think video games are important enough to deserve press disclosure and non-bias and you’re also living a pretty sad life if you start an organised group campaigning for this.

Just because I think something is pointless and a waste of time doesn’t mean I don’t empathise with it.

It may surprise you, but feminism stands for gender equality. Just like how GG has a bad name because of people causing harassment, feminism seems to have a bad name because of some crazy people who try to turn it into an anti-male cause.

Take a minute and think about it. Lack of disclosure over video game journalism, it’s isn’t actually an important issue at all. If you’re concerned about bias from someone telling you what games you should buy, remember that they’re already telling you what games you should buy.
