As someone who has owned a second gen Probe GT for 20+ years, I’ve watched them go from lightly used cars to downright beaters. This car is a great example of a decently cared for 22 year old car and seems to be priced accordingly. I have seen the owner posting through social media getting advice on fixing the car up.

...and I’m over here running emulation on my WiiU that’s collecting dust 🤷‍♂️

You know that I’m game to try and bring my 93 Probe GT next time.

My family had a 1991 Geo Metro back in the 1990’s. It was a blast to drive hard because “slow car fast”. Pulled up next to a Mustang GT, reving my engine. When the light turned green, I smoked the tires as he took off. At the next light, I told him that I couldn’t “hook up”.

Nothing beats a good set of winter tires for traction and safety in the winter. Not only will you accelerate better and brake better, the turning performance is flat out superior. Best $800 I spent after buying my 2013 Focus ST was getting this set of steel wheels and tires.

Incredible car! These are the kinds of builds that truly impress me as this car started started out rather janky and became downright special. Plus there is something about 90’s cars with pop-up headlights. 😍

My parents had purchased a beater back in 2002, a 1986 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. This car had sat for a couple of years and my Dad was going to use it as a work car after the second engine in his 1991 Geo metro gave up the ghost. This car had some serious safety issues, such as leaking gasoline from the pressure line and

It’s really a tale of two roadtrips taken 10 months apart, using my 2013 Focus ST. The first trip was my idea while the second roadtrip was my wife’s idea. Both trips were roughly 6,000 miles each give or take a few hundred. I did drive my wife a little crazy because I constantly would take pictures of the Focus ST in

I’m looking at almost a 9 hour drive. The question is whether I want to play with fire and drive my 1993 Probe GT Out there to get laughed at.

I would have bought the Newhart Olds... but only if it was from his 1980’s show instead.

I had gotten this PT Cruiser for free while working at a Jeep Dealer around 2000. I guess we did well in customer satisfaction or something and I was allowed to pick an item from a catalog. The funny part is the hood doesn’t open and the underside has a rear wheel drive layout with a rear transaxle.

The ProbeGT has been at rock bottom so long that it can really only go up, or continue to crash and burn until I own the last one. Regardless I’m getting historic plates next year.

I remember that guy’s KLZE Swapped MX3.... PINK POWA!

I’ve been around this series of engines for about 20 years and know a few people that run turbocharged 2.5s. I still wish the Julian Bradbury site was still around that talked about these engines in detail.

My fifth winter with this 2013 Focus ST. With a set of winter tires, nothing can stop this winter warrior.

Car cultures for unpopular cars for one reason or another tend to be the best in my opinion. The most fun Car Culture I was ever part of was Probetalk.com (Ford Probe / Mazda MX6) during the 2000’s. We would have various meets at places like Hocking Hills, Florida, All Ford Nationals to name a few. Our largest meet

My best meet stories come from an annual Ford Probe / Mazda MX6 car show that used to be held in Myrtle Beach, SC every second weekend of November (Myrtle Madness). It’s really difficult to single out a specific story, somewhat because it was mostly a blur. One story involved being surrounded by Myrtle Beach Police

Other than the one I own, I rarely see them 😢

The sound of the K series V6 😍
