Interesting that Mazda is still clinging to the rotary, even in the face of it basically being considered a meme engine due to how unreliable and difficult they are to own.

Neat, but is this a Miata? Seems more like an upmarket RX-7 to me. Gotta think it’s going to be $40K plus and generate limited sales, and our fun, simple little tossable MX-5 will be a thing of the past.

Which is no different than every other RV that isn’t a bus conversion.

On Bring-A-Trailer?

Can we just marvel at the size of this seven passenger vehicle?

I mean honestly it might look a little better without those black plastic parts over the wheels, or maybe in a darker paint color so they don’t stand out as much. IMO it’s the same with Mansory and all the rando carbon fiber they add, when it’s a darker paint and they don’t stand out as much, they are slightly less

Personally I’m all for this sort of adventurous design directions in trucks. Cars, both sedans and coupes, among whatever further sub-genres you can lump cars into, have had relative luxury of going in virtually any design direction people are willing to buy. Trucks on the other hand have an “expected” look about

I’ve never in my life seen or heard of that before. The more you know!

For the Odyssey - I am guessing the comment was referring to the original Honda Odyssey, not the wagovan thing...

Chances are it goes for over $10K.

The vast majority of these were.

Of course it’s Pewter.

Funny story w/ an Amigo involved. Friends in high school put dog poop on my buddy’s car. As we were getting to buddy’s car, our friends were already leaving the parking lot. They stopped to laugh as we angrily cleaned it off. I say ‘they’, but only the Amigo actually stopped while the other drove right into the back

My partner has a 1994 Isuzu Amigo of this generation, with a 5-speed.

Hardly possible since Isuzu is long gone from the US, but the VehiCross was, and is still, super cool.

Jalopnik got sold. Kinja’s going away anyway. Maybe comments too.

Sad to see how the comments are dropping to the low double digits or even single digits on most of the posts these days. Maybe get back to real car news instead of the Tesla bullshit every two seconds?

Gate lice exist primarily because most people have little common sense and/or think they are above the rules due to their sense of entitlement. The gate attendants make so many announcements explaining the boarding rules yet half the people in the group 1 line either have no idea what boarding group they are in or are

They want to avoid paying extra fees, but they also want to avoid the inconvenience of gate checking their bag (for free I’ll add) at the expense of those that did pay some extra fees or have status for earlier boarding. They can pound sand.

“Gate lice” exist because airlines created baggage fees outside of the normal ticket price. People are trying to get in early so they have a place to store all their shit because they don’t want to pay extra fees for an already terrible experience.
