No way in Hell that American is not dead last.
I’m pretty sure a 1984 Mustang isn’t going to fetch anything *near* $18K. Maybe $1800 for an 84 Mustang, but even that would be a stretch.

Should have been around in the 1970s - early 80s driving a Japanese car in coal country.
I would expect nothing else. Not surprised at all...welcome to Jalopnik.
^ Hear. Hear.
I don’t know what car shows you’ve been going to....but here in MN, our Cars & Coffee is dominated by BMWs, VWs, Audis, Hondas etc.....(or at least used to be, I stopped going when they switched locations). Wouldn’t mind seeing an old Mustang/Vette or even this Escort. Hell throw in a few Citations, Chevettes, AMCs,…
C’mon. Barbie only drives a Corvette.
Manolo with the great hair! From the TV commercial.
She misses Blake.
This would be #2 right behind Mach 5. But on this site, who knows. Probably pick cars from Yugi-Oh or whatever the hell it’s called.
The fact that this didn’t make “the list” a couple of days later, tells me all I need to know about this site.
^^Came here for this.
I know. I had the exact same reaction when I heard it the first time.
The absolute best:
Saw the title of the article and immediately knew who wrote it. It’s been a while since we’ve had a Brad Pitt story. Can I assume a Jonny Depp article will be seeing the light of day soon?
“Greatest discovery of our lifetime?” - How about greatest discovery of all time to date? (Or damned close to it)
Sigh. Everybody ragging on the 1980 cars needs to realize that’s just the way it was. You can single every one of them out and say the same exact thing. Pick 1982 for example:
....or maybe he didn’t?
