ZERO chemistry. It was all so, so contrived.
100% with you, Mosquito
Less chemistry than Aria and Gendry?! I was not feeling that at all
Nah. I don’t know how this series ends but there’s one thing of which I’m absolutely certain: your speculation about the legitimacy of Rheagar’s marriage to Lyanna will have ZERO impact on the conclusion. As someone else noted, the show told us the marriage is legit, so it’s legit.
JAIME! Come on, friends! He’s as good as gone. His arc is as complete as it’s ever going to be. He will die a hero at Winterfell.
Davos lives. Tyrion’s pointed comment that “one of you (Davos or Jorah) will be wearing this [the hand of the king medallion] soon” was meant to suggest Daenarys would demote Tyrion, but of course it actually means that Davos will be wearing it when Tyrion is King (of the South). Jorah is definitely dead AF.
The series was lost in Game 1, when the Lightning had a 3-0 lead and inexplicably kept pushing for that fourth goal. The moment the series was lost was when Stamkos and Kucherov had a 2-on-1 with Bobrovsky in the second period and Bob came up with a miraculous save. Thereafter, the Lightning continued to press for…
“so if I know my science (and I think I do) I’m almost certainly a stunningly beautiful genius”
In the olden days, my solution was to drink more booze. The familiar drunk feeling would eventually overtake the panicky high and I’d be back to normal. I guess this was just my distraction technique.
Hmmm... First season was a real let down for me. I really, really like Aidy Bryant. I think she is an excellent comic actor. But these first six episodes just weren’t very funny. Too much focus on making these big dramatic points that were, I hate to say it, kinda trite.
I probably wasn’t clear - I was responding to the original poster’s comment regarding Oasis in general, and not particularly “Wonderwall” (which is pretty terrible 90s treacle). I was saying that Oasis may have went to shit, but Definitely Maybe still holds up as a classic album.
I didn’t see the TIE fighter getting cut in half OR an ice planet! I want those things!
“I also feel like your point is overlooked by the majority of the cord-cutting crowd that is currently up in arms about all of the different competing services popping up everywhere and also the rising prices of some streaming services (I’m looking at you DirectTV Now and YouTube TV). All of those shenanigans aside,…
It is odd to me that Gen X now includes BEE (age 55), me (age 45) and, at least according to some folks, even my younger brother (age 36). Someone born in 1964 has had a much different life experience than someone born in 1973 and certainly someone born in 1982. I mean, for crying out loud, I was in elementary school…
Midichlorians, obviously. Next question
THIS ALL DAY. It’s the freaking lack of feedback that demands you push any button multiple times!
everything you’re doing here is god’s work
don’t act like you know what i can and can’t do, pal
I hear you, but I think the simple answer is there has to be a line drawn. You look at it when it matters, because well ... it matters. You can’t look at every single out of bounds play, but the ones that happen at the end of the half and the end of regulation or OT simply matter more in a close game. Those are the…
