If there's not a setting in the 'picture' menu of your TV, invest in a video scaler. They are expensive but the best way. OR, even better than the best way, BUY A CRT and play it the way it was meant to be played.

as some one whos works a full time job and gaming has become my primary hobby, as of late, i can average 3-5 hours easily and much more on the weekend. it can be done easily. if you have kids i can see that being more difficult.

Working adult, averaging 1-3hrs a day, around 5 on the weekendsish. Though it helps that my SO is sharing my account, so if I burn out she'll be picking up the slack (or she's playing while I'm working and we double those hours a day).
