My brother lives in CO. I do like to visit, but it is getting really crowded, and the cost of living is insane, especially in the Denver-Boulder area. I couldn't believe how much he spent on a house.

Sidenote—I used to live in WY. I love the mountains there, but hate the politics. As a bit of a leftist, if I lived there, that would be my breakfast every morning.
This is also why schools should have a level of federal funding that means they don’t need any property tax revenue to support the basic infrastructure, teacher pay, supplies, etc. Let the property tax revenue pay the administrators’ salaries or something, I don’t know.
Zuckerberg gave $100 million to Newark schools. Poisoning kids by replacing pipes would have been a great place to put.
I can’t tell you how many women I know in STEM have at least one anecdote of an extremely inappropriate situation like this...its horrifyingly ubiquitous from a lot of these older male PIs.
