I’m getting MRA vibes from you. Am I right? If so, this is one of the things feminists agree with you about. We want more female breadwinners and, consequently, more social acceptance for men who choose to stay home and take care of their families, just like y’all do!

It is entirely not true? It seems like odd is stripped of its actual meaning for you.

Just because something is not your experience doesn’t mean it’s odd.

Instead of tossing the bouquet, I handed it to my good friend who was getting married a few months after me, and had everyone toast her and her fiancé. She took the ribbon and little jewel pins from my bouquet and had them incorporated into her bouquet, then did the same thing I did, handed her bouquet off to her

WHo the fuck says yay? WHO?!?!?!?!

It kills me that his ideas are seen as “fringe”. I don’t know when left became “right light”.

There’s a loophole in NJ now — something where single-site grocery stores can have beer and wine (no liquor). Some Costcos and Wegmans seem to be taking advantage of it (they have to put a location in one person’s name, because it can’t be a chain, but franchises are okay? And they still need a liquor store liquor

I live in Wisconsin.

I’m surprised Best Buy doesn’t sell beer here.

I’m in RI and it’s the same deal here… alcohol only in dedicated “package” or “packie” stores. And the liquor stores aren't allowed to sell anything that could compete with the grocers, like limes or anything else you might reasonably need, like milk for your White Russians.

When it works right and the person wielding it knows how it works. It sure can be a lot of fun.

Was the 13 year old girl named raffey?

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Are

I did this as well. I made it to my neighbors house, where she made me tea and gave me cookies and called my mom. I told my mom when she arrived I felt I had lived enough for the day, and that I could accept a ride home. I was 4, and yes I was an old woman trapped in a small childs body. After that I regularly had tea

I hated people who asked for frappucinos when I worked at an actual Starbucks.

Totally. Grow some weed like a normal person.

Honey, you need to stop. You are seriously over your head in this discussion or you are a troll. You refuse to grasp what anyone is saying and keep repeating the same points. I’m guessing that you are insufferable and that contributes to the lack of empathy people have when they give you attitude.

You are REALLY missing the point, or you are just trolling. My mother’s generation did not have a choice. They stayed home because they weren’t taken seriously in the job market and actually could not do anything without the permission of their husbands, hold credit cards, get birth control, etc., etc.

You’re really not sure why, or you’re coyly “not sure why?” If it’s the former, consider re-reading the article.

Omg nobody cares. You do you, but if you can’t understand how these roles have been forced on women and serve as symbols of our historical oppression, then there is no helping you.
