“I hope Democrats do run a democratic socialist because I think you’ll lose spectacularly, and then I’ll look forward to Election Night when I can tell everybody, ‘I told you so,’ if you end up running a radical.”

Same here. Then I remember where we are, and how we got here. There is a swath of stupid in this country that is only going to double down on the stupid.

As long as the coal miners keep their jobs, America will be fine, just fine.

I pull my phone out like I’m getting a text, then right when we’re about to pass I kind of quickly nod and give a curt hello. It’s 2018, people look at their phones, it’s perfectly acceptable.

I’ve definitely gotten in the habit of taking a shower when I get home to wash BART off me (Peninsula to SF and back here)

I would say 74 with a medium breeze. Otherwise 70-71 is most comfortable, in my opinion.

Weird, I just started riding BART this week to work (SF’s version of the subway) and was musing at how my already sweaty self was even more uncomfortable and gross on the horribly climate controlled train. I’m terrified what it will be like once “San Francisco Summer” (which is to say, all fog all the time) is over

Sorry you can’t be an dismissive asshole on this one, but congrats on the attempt at doing so.

I couldn’t agree with you more. In fact, I’m willing to bet that they knew about a lot of these bugs and released anyway. I’m not blaming QA and I’m not blaming the software engineers. I’m blaming management who almost certainly said “fuck it let’s release anyway”.

I think you’re missing my point. I’m not blaming the software developers. I’m blaming management who very likely said “let’s release anyway” even though they knew it was going to be a disaster.

To be clear, I’m not blaming the QA department. I’m not blaming the software engineers either. I guarantee this was a top down “let’s do a kewl new scaling technology that will save on labor” decision made by a tech lead/director or engineering manager that was probably hated by everyone who actually had to work on

Acutally, I’ve worked (and still work) in Software Quality Assurance for over 20 years (3 of which in the game industry). So ya, I know something about bugs and how to prevent and anticipate them. This shit was sloppy and totally foreseeable.

Literally everyone could have predicted this. This level of disastrous patch just should not happen 14 years into the game’s life.

The remaining 35% that support Trump are such monumental shit-for-brains, nothing is going to convince them. I truly wish there was a way we could cut them off at this point (or, you know, carpet bomb them).

The difference being, a naked Stephen King covered in mossy plant material is still infinitely less disgusting than the blob of shit currently sitting in the Oval Office.

This is terrifying, my daughter has a peanut allergy. I’m going to show this to her tonight.

I’m sold. I’ve been looking for a reason to pick up my 3DS again. Sounds like I found it!

Serious question...why does anyone hire Brian Fuller any more? At this point I would assume whatever I’d hire him for, he’d be out in six months.

Preach, brother!
