The Flash had the strongest first season of any Arrowverse show. Cavanagh was a super compelling Thawne, and Gustin’s Flash brought some much needed joy to the Arrowverse. It pains me to say, but for me the show has been in steady decline ever since. There are way too many episodes like this one that are a glum slog

I clicked on this article specifically hoping that a comment like this would be here. Thank you!

The whole “Why didn’t the Avengers/X-Men/Superman come to help???” is a question that has been asked since comic books started, and I have just never understood why people ask it. Even if Cap and Bucky were fighting on the top of Mount Everest, they have powerful friends who could have reached them in a few minutes.

The absolute most annoying thing about the internet age is uniformed people with huge platforms loudly opining on important subjects they don’t know the first thing about. Then, on the rare occassion when the outcry over the nonsense they spread gets loud, they turn around and just as loudly say: “I am not an expert!

Oh man, the first paragraph of this review was so me. I was watching in the theater with both my young sons, one sitting on either side of me and gripping one of my arms tight during that scene where the toys are in peril. And even though my rational brain was saying that this was at the end of the day a kids movie

I agree with Mr. Fahey-caring about how others are gaming just sounds stressful. When it comes to games, all I care about is if I am having fun. I don’t care what other people think about my gaming, and I don’t care what other gamers are doing beyond a vague hope that everyone else is also enjoying the hobby.

Ok.......I know my take is a lazy one, but here goes: I agree with all of the criticism in the comments and elsewhere. Karli was not fleshed out enough as a villan, Walker was not fleshed out enough as a character, the plot didn’t always make sense and so on. This show clearly could have benefitted from being eight

I just finished a rewatch of the whole Farscape series for the first time in more than decade. I was delighted to find that it still holds up and is wonderful!

Thank you for the fun, well written article.

Games for PS5/PS4 that I have purchased but not touched currently sits at 24. This does not include games from PS Plus that I really want to try someday. It also does not include games from generations before that that I have simply decided to let go.

This is a well written piece, and I appreciate it. But, I just don’t think there is a way to do this or most any other hobby “wrong”. I have some games that I bought and haven’t played yet. That won’t stop me from playing a new game I am interested in if it comes out, and if that means I die someday without playing a

Good for you for finding that balance! I hope I show that discipline some day. I am still too reluctant to sacrifice that me time...............

Thank you very much-good luck to you on that goal as well! I figure I can have a better balance when the kids go off to college and I retire. :)

I trade sleep for games way too often. It is an understandable habit-a family and a full time job don’t leave much time for gaming-but it is not good for me.

I broke a couple of controllers back in the late 90s, but I haven’t tossed a controller in 20 years or so. I was in my final couple of years of law school and I was super stressed, and my controllers paid the price when I was frustrated by a couple of single player experiences.

This article is great as Popcorn Champs (and History of Violence and Age of Heroes!) alway is. And Dark Knight is a great movie. “The Dark Knight....has a rare form of electricity” is the perfect way to describe it. There was a palpable energy in the crowd watching it in the theater, and the running time flew by in a

As I note above, I think Deadwood is the best TV ever made, but Justified sure is fantastic. Your post reminded me that it is about time for a rewatch of that series. I atill miss Tuesday nights in Harlan County!

Deadwood is the best television show ever made. But Venture Bros. and Rick and Morty are great too!

Throw in the little drum flourish as a sound track for my life every time I walk into the hotel and you have yourself a deal. I will start digging through the couch cushions immediately.

No matter that criteria, both  Groovitron and Mr. Zurkon (the best part of the game) are ranked way too low. I am outraged. OUTRAGED. :)
