The stupid part was that anyone got ejected for this at all. I am a Braves fan, I watched it, and it was no big deal. They should have just broken everyone up and gone back to the game. Instead, the game was delayed and the Pirates placed at a disadvantage for no real reason (and again, I say this as a Braves fan).

Saying that the search for who is to blame in a situation like this is fruitless should be self-evident, but in this era of hot takes blame will be thrown around no matter the outcome. If Durant hadn’t played and Toronto was celebrating right now, many would be looking for who was to blame in that scenario too.

I think people should just do whatever works for them. I have been married 20 years, and my wife and I can count on two hands (maybe starting on toes at this point) the evenings we have been away from each other. We work in the same office too! That works for us.

This is the first movie I ever saw in a theater! Now I want to take my kids to see it!

Deadwood is my pick for best show of all time, and I thought the movie was great. And who knows if HBO will do it, but I would shell out money for a special cut with the extra scenes. More Deadwood is always a welcome development.

But that is my point. There is no effort to prevent it and an air of resignation because they thought it already occurred. And that is what Al wanted them to think so they would not stop him, which is why he lied about it.

The best part of my day today is that two of my friends at work are now watching Deadwood because I would not shut up about the movie last week and the movie got such glowing reviews. They both came to my office today to say that are blown away by Season 1 so far.

I am not sure what you are disagreeing with, since you just stated what happened. Al told Sol he already did it specifically so that no one would question the actions he was about to take. There was no objection or discussion specifically because Al lied to them. If he had said something like: “I haven’t done it yet,

Good Morning. I think a lot of people share the view that not objecting to what Al did to Jen was out of character for all of the people of Deadwood. I thought that when I first watched it, but on subsequent viewings I respectfully disagree, especially with regard to Bullock. His story arc all season was Al

The movie was great-a fantastic capstone to a masterpiece. I wish I could thank David Milch, the great cast, and everyone involved in making Deadwood for giving us the best show ever. I was super hyped for the movie, and it lived up to the hype.

When something like this derails a marriage, you know for certain that it was a super stable union to begin with.

Wizard and Glass could make for some really amazing TV.........

You are very smart to ban Lego sets. I cannot turn any direction in my house without stepping on one of those darn things......

DEADWOOD. MOVIE. TONIGHT. FINALLY.

I already told my wife and kids that this is my plan for the weekend, and that it is just something they have to deal with. I also said that, for today only, losing the remote before 8 gets you kicked out of the family.

They set out for revenge, but in the end Bullock and Utter turned him over for trial in Yankton where we can all presume he was executed for the murder of Hickcok (because that is what actually happened in 1877).

Yes! It was also the first DW scene ever with Al, and it is a great one. And then, I don’t think Ian McShane and Jim Beaver share another scene until Catbird Seat at the very end of the series. I could be wrong about that.......

I appreciate the good and detailed write up, but you are absolutely right that the assertion that Alma left town was an error. As you articulated, the whole reason for the “will she sell her claim?” story line was because she wanted to stay in Deadwood.

Rev. Smith’s lesson from Corinthians and the montage that follows shortly thereafter-Bullock riding out of town in search of justice, Trixie helping Alma get off the dope, the community helping each other-is both Deadwood’s finest moment and the thesis of the show. I rewatch the episode often when I feel low, because

More time with this amazing show and cast is a real blessing. I am looking forward to Friday night.
