I love baseball. I love dogs. This story absolutely made my day.

Just take my money CD. Take it!
This describes me too.
Very well said.
I understand your point, and I feel the same way about a lot of the Arrowverse seasons. I am hooked and it is good fun, but there is not a television golden age vibe. I just want to say that I think Arrow seasons 2 and 5, along with Flash season 1 was awfully close to “prestige television” IMO. Which makes this past…
Congratulations to Mr. Berlanti, who has earned this-he and his team have provided great entertainment for years. For me, this has been the weakest season for the Arrowverse overall, and I am hoping for a big bounce back next year. But those shows have provided a lot of good, exciting television.
I sunk lots of hours into NV, but missed this vault, which is a shame. I love Fallout, and usually wring every game in the series dry. NV has some fantastic stuff-but it is by far the buggiest game I have ever played on a console.
My wife and I are going to see Solo on Wednesday-so Disney can look forward to adding to the total box office this week!
I cry at the end of Its A Wonderful Life every single damn year since I was a kid. I used to try to hide it, but now my family just sits watching sympathetic and loving as I weep.
This is one of the very few movies I have ever walked out on. I found it to be an assault on the senses and the brain from the credits until I gave up in disgust.
I think that Deadwood is the best television show to ever air. If this movie actually happens, it will be a small glimmer of light in some pretty dark times. My fingers are fully crossed.
For me, there have always been two: Firefly and Deadwood.
“In the end, Signs works for Hollinger because, despite its flaws, it’s a movie about a family learning to come together in the face of their own mortality. The aliens, with their easily accessible Achilles heel that neuters them before they become a real threat, are kind of secondary to that.”
Well.....that certainly was a season of television!
Carpe Museum is a wonderful half hour of television. And it still has my favorite line delivery of the series, Bob to Louise: “Oh my God, am I your HERO?!”. Fantastic.
Oh, and just to Reply to my own post, I know who my vote in this category would be for: Ben Stiller.
I think Back to the Future, one of the touchstones of pop culture, disqualifies Zemeckis. Also, if Sorkin and his sagging shelf of awards is a B Plus career, then sign me up for 89%.
I disagree with putting Tom Cruise on this list only because of Born on the 4th of July. I haven’t watched in a while, so maybe it doesn’t hold up or something, but I remember his performance in that being pretty amazing. His other work is pretty hit and miss with me, but if the criteria is “never quite gives an A…
In order to enjoy this finale (and I did), you have to come to terms with the fact that the engine behind the dramatic tension made no sense at all. If the FBI could help (in a way Argus can’t for some reason), there is no way they would make assistance contingent on Oliver giving himself up. What would they do if he…
Arrowverse shows shine when they have a great villan-Slade, Wells/Thawne, Chase, Maxwell Lord :) . There are a lot of problems with this season of Flash, but the most glaring is I think Devoe was miscast. I know little about the actor who plays him and I mean no offense, but he is just not compelling in this role at…
