None of what you posted makes any of what you are talking about a First Amendment or free speech issue. It just isn’t. It only applies to government. I came to post this-thank you for putting it so well. I thought this was a great choice for the movie, because Quill’s actions were completely in character for him. I thought every character acted as established over all the movies, which is what one of the things that made the movie so great.
