Thank you for the great write up about this great movie-and I can’t wait for Darkman next week!
You are right! I need to get my agent on the phone and get a Hollywood development deal going. :)
I discovered the best use for the reclining chairs last year: The Emoji Movie. My son and his best friend insisted on going, so I took them and settled in for a reclining chair nap. The awesome thing was, each parent in our row did exactly the same thing-five of us in all. When the lights came on we all woke up,…
I agree completely-or the Agents of Shield model from last season where the show was split into different arcs. Something needs to be done to combat the filler episodes we always get this time of year.......
I agree with most everyone that Alex’s demeanor seemed to come from nowhere during last night’s episode. The thing is, Alex being scared and angry is a very interesting place to take the character in theory. I assume these events would really shake someone who is not super strong or impervious to bullets, no matter…
That is so true! If you want your rates to stay the same, stop hitting stuff!
Me too! It is so irrational, but I am always like: “You traitor!”
I agree with Ms. Penzey Moog about State Farm, and would extend that to all insurance companies. There is this awful trend where these huge corporations are trying to convince people that they are a healthy part of the fabric of your community. They are not. They want every last dollar, and will let people suffer to…
Good Morning,
That is true, but what I am saying is that the balance is off. Leena is ignoring very obvious clues during episodes where her ability to see things others don’t is highlighted. It is really jarring at this point. And if you look through this comment section, you will find many others with the same complaint.
That would be a very interesting place to take Leena’s character....we will see if the writers do something like that!
I was typing on my way into a meeting and of course I meant “sense” not “since”!
Thanks for the kind words, and the cowbell. EVERYTHING is better with more Cowbell!
I see what you are saying, but the review doesn’t really include that qualifier. It says that the Guardian turned up for the first time all season, which is not 100 percent accurate.
I love comedy that pushes boundaries. I am a (mostly) unashamed fan of shows like Family Guy. I have Cerebral Palsy, and they have made some jokes about that and similar disabilities that I have gotten a good laugh out of. It is very hard to offend me.
My family is watching hockey, and my parents just texted that they are going to the movies. We almost never miss a State of the Union, but I have better things to do than watch a racist, misogynist bully lie for two solid hours.
I think people are/have been worried about both things. I seem to recall a lot of phony looking stuff making the rounds on the internet a few years back about how eating foods damaged by microwaves was really bad for you. I don’t really buy that, but I do remember co-workers talking about it.
I remember when I was a kid, that scene and the one where Homer tries to jump Springfield Gorge both made me laugh so hard I thought I might actually die.
“When I say hello Mr. Thompson and press down on your foot, you smile and nod.........”
