I know they smashed it, but by destroy I meant melt it so it can never be constructed again.

Amen. That is why both shows are enjoyable while also driving me up a wall. The plotting on both is just absurd.
This was the best episode of Arrow in a while, because they really got the character beats right. Paul B was especially great in the episode.
"Red 5 standing by"
Agreed-with the way Barry's dad has been handled a close second. Looks like he will be in the next episode, so hopefully there will be some rehabilitation of that mess….
I know it sounds petty, but I just couldn't get into this episode because the way Barry just gave Zoom his powers during the last outing was so ridiculous. I tried, but I couldn't stop thinking about how dumb this all is.
I just watched this last night so I am late to the party, but I just wanted to say that I thought this review really nailed the strengths and weaknesses of the season (hopefully not series!) finale. This show has a long way to go, and as with the other shows in this group (Arrow, Flash, LOT), the plotting is often…
I have really enjoyed these reviews, and so I mean no offense-but I disagree with the B plus. This whole thing is just amazingly lazy storytelling. Time remnant? Barry just gives up his speed even though he is faster than Zoom and Wally is safe? And on, and on, and on.
I understand what you are saying. I have no medical knowledge or fighting knowledge, and so it is easier for me to accept those parts of any show as fine. Beyond my vague thought that this attack or that attack probably should have put Daredevil in traction or a coma, I can cruise along blissfully unaware.
I wish CW would stop taking strange breaks with their shows and just get through a season. Because Arrow and Flash were off this week, I completely forgot to watch this. I was excited about the trip to the old west too. I will catch up and it is not a big deal, but the schedule has seemed odd lately.
Good Evening Ben,
Agreed. He also had only a few days to prepare the case because the DA used her pull or something. Because that is usually what happens in a case involving 30 plus murders (or one murder)-the lawyers get a couple days to prepare and then it is off to the races! I'm sure that a few hours would be enough to gather the…
As I (and many others) brought up here and in the comments for the previous episode, the legal stuff in season 2 is driving me nuts. And it can be argued that the character of Reyes suffered the most. She is supposed to be an intimidating seasoned DA-and every single thing that happens in court shows that she has no…
HA! I am a lawyer too, and I said this to my wife as we were watching it!
I could not agree with this more. I am a lawyer who spent a lot of years doing criminal defense. I don't want to be that guy-I usually don't care at all if shows are "legally accurate" or not-but the trial scenes in this show are so bad that it is really cutting into my enjoyment of the second season.
I really like all of the Berlanti shows-they are very enjoyable. I look forward to each of them every week. But I think the plotting on all of them (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, LOT) can be very sloppy. Every great action scene or character moment seems to be balanced by one where you say to yourself: "What that character…
I thought I was the only one with this problem! Once I learned the timing on Iron Mike beating him was easy, but Super Macho Man always gave me a hard time.
Jeffrey Tambor has my favorite line reading of all time:
This was the best, most fun episode of this show by a good margin. Still, I wish they hadn't done the whole: "I've known where Savage is all along, but it was just too risky thing." That is just dumb-they have taken plenty of risk to find Savage in the past, when they could have gone right to him. It invalidates every…
My favorite part of this very good Adventure Time was Simon's acknowledgement that in the first Betty episode, Marcy got a little left out in all the commotion. The episode where Betty first comes to Ooo is great, but it felt a little rushed because it was so packed. The most egregious part of that was the treatment…
