I have often wondered about this too-Wynn is a very different character in Hatless. Maybe his experience there helped turned him into the survivor he is today (although later episodes imply he has always been this way)?

After this episode, I think Season 6 has become my favorite over seasons 4 and 2. I never thought that the final season could be good enough to push the second season of this show, which at the time it aired was some of my favorite television ever, all the way to third place. But here we are-this has been an utterly…
I just want to say that this show is an absolute treasure. Anyone who is not watching is really missing out.
I just caught up on the latest episode. Arrow is a really fun show, but I am disheartened. Some of the plot choices are making this hard to watch.
I agree. This show and season are very entertaining, but there is a major flaw. The fact that Merlyn is always under Oliver's protection is ridiculous. Well before the video of Thea killing Sara, Oliver had every reason to stand back and do nothing while the league took its shot at Melyn. So what if he has a no kill…
Agreed. A big problem with this season has been that character reactions to big events are far too rushed. Ollie is the Arrow? Thea is instantly cool with it. The team is working with Merlyn? Felicity instantly goes from being desperate for Oliver's return to all out anger that he would do such a thing. Now Laurel…
I just watched the latest episode, and I am a little ashamed by how much I enjoyed it. I can't disagree with anything said in the comments or the review: This episode was very cheesy and way over the top. And yet….I had a huge smile on my face throughout, even during the ridiculous fan service. I think I just like…
Hi Deborah,
Good Afternoon J.P.,
Good Afternoon,
I have been married to my wonderful wife for 15 years, so the little I knew about dating has receded far into history. But I wanted to say that I thought the advice given by the authors of this column was both excellent and compassionately delivered. Most people are hoping to find a person to share their day with, to…
This may have been mentioned in the 1,000 plus comments, and I don't want to be that guy, but Cyrano did not die in a freak log accident-he was murdered. In the last act, the characters clearly talk about how Cyrano's enemies have become bolder, and it is made clear that one of those enemies waited until he walked…
Not the strongest episode, but still enjoyable. I like the Cisco character, but that is two major screw ups in the space of 12 episodes. Dr. Wells likes to seem like a tough task master, but really doesn't seem to be concerned that his employee is letting dangerous people/stuff out on the street in the long run. Odd.
I enjoyed the episode, even though everything felt a bit rushed. Loved the speech and return, but many of the arcs would have been better served played out over multiple episodes instead of the fast pace we saw here.
It is so interesting that this article compares the Red Bull to the Nothing from the Never Ending Story. As I started reading the article, I was thinking that the bull from Last Unicorn and the Nothing were the only times I ever remember being really scared by movies as a small child. I have always thought the two…
I agree with you, but I have to say: after the reveal, The Adventures of Lois and Clark started to decline somewhat. It was not the same show without the tension surrounding Clark's identity and a stable relationship between Lois and Clark. I always wondered if that show would have stayed on if they had saved the…
The only thing I remember about Supergirl is that my family went to see it in the theater on Thanksgiving. I don't remember what year it came out, but I was pretty little. About halfway through the film, one drunk guy stormed into the theater, accused another guy in the row in front of us of stealing his wife, and the…
I would not go so far as to place Superman Returns over Superman and Superman II, but I liked Returns a lot more than most people. The majority of people I talked to found the version of Superman in that movie to be overly mopey at best and creepy at worst. But I thought that Supes isolation and yearning to connect…
True, but that last encounter with Raylan does have its own bookend to the pilot-both times, Dewey got his face slammed into the steering wheel.
I really liked this episode, but will miss watching Dewey Crowe.
Damon Herriman did such a great job with that character. I knew he was a goner the moment he mentioned Mexico.
