Oh, hello there Lexus IS-F.
Oh, hello there Lexus IS-F.
No fuel tank either.
I’m genuinely upset that I didn’t come up with that. Bravo!
Private jet sharing tarmac with a Sentra... right.
Are you surprised at how out of touch someone with the title of Senior VP of Marketing and Operations at Nissan could be? Considering it’s Nissan, I’m not.
The big overhead fueling systems that you’re referring to are portable, setup by the teams, and are part of their equipment. Check out a TUDOR pit stall to see what I mean.
It has to be mostly tradition, not simplicity or cost. You’d be amazed at the budget some teams have just for air gun and jack engineering and development. All of the top teams develop these in house. Their car rules are so strict that they look for every last thousandth everywhere else.
ding ding ding!
I think they have to... otherwise the rental car industry might collapse.
Based on the latest owner survey that I recieved from Subaru of America, they are strongly considering bringing either the Levorg or a WRX hatchback body style to the US as well. The whole survey was about hatchback and/or wagon availability. They also entertained the idea of a Crosstrek turbo as an alternative. Of…
At least in the US, stop treating it like a right and make people earn their license through stricter testing. The level of driver education is almost criminally low.
Am I doing this right?
I’d like to know why poor driving is so accepted in modern society. It’s easily one of the most dangerous activities that the average person partakes on a daily basis. Instead of focusing on driver education we rely on technology more and more to save us from ourselves.
The turbos are right there in front of the rear tire (at least they are on the EcoBoost DP car, which everyone can safely assume is the same setup). The short exhaust just makes sense for power, packaging, and weight.
Yep.
All that tech, and they can’t be bothered to install a set of turn signals...
Old people love Outbacks and Foresters. Easy ingress/egress, good visibilty, AWD is great in tropical rain storms, and they have really high safety ratings.
It’s because Americans are macho and pickups have been marketed to the point that they carry that image. Vans are seen as kid hauling mom vehicles.
obvious answer is obvious.
Damnit Travis, why did you have to use the best answer as your example? Also, it should be the base engine for the Fiesta, but I guess the part about only being paired with a 5-speed manual means they’d never do it in this day and age. It’s a great little package, full of happy little turbo noises.
