Damn my typos, yes Alec not Alex.

Also, bring me the AV Club’s joyously excellent Law and Order thread (now in its 10th year!)

I’d like to see more of 006 before he turned heel. Alex clearly was a good agent, as he and James apparently teamed up for prior missions before his 1989 ‘death’.

Personally I don’t think it will make much difference. Maybe’s Ted’s storyline will seem stronger but the other stuff will feel (not feel) as stop/start as it currently does.

I think one of the tragic things about a lot of suicides is that we don’t always know what led to people doing that. I think narratively it’s quite realistic to not know why Ted’s dad killed himself.

See I really wouldn’t mind seeing another attempt at a live action Super Mario Bros.

Props to Bob Hoskins for the original film. Even though it was trash, he never phoned in his performance.

It’s not like there aren’t major pop culture moments from the 70's that would appeal to viewers. Also you’ve got funk, disco and the burgeoning rap scene (granted mainly in New York), so the sound of the show would be something instantly recognizable.

Exhibit B: Roger Moore’s Bond visiting the grave of Tracy in the pre title sequence of For Your Eyes Only.

Would it have been such a bad thing to set this in late 70's?

Granted I’m speaking from the perspective of someone from the other side of The Pond, but why repeat premise of the original?

I think The Simpsons nailed the narration thing pretty well.

To be fair, what the fuck else is Leslie Bibb doing?

Food fight!!!

I’m not sure what it’s availability is internationally, but I recommend folks watching Moone Boy.

Hopefully season two will allow the writers to come up with something a bit more creative.

So much went wrong with Finn. He felt like an afterthought for The Last Jedi, given a plot that felt uninteresting and borderline pointless.

I wonder if he’s sticking to the idiom of if you can’t say anything nice, then say nothing at all?

Cousin Hugh in Paddington 2.

They need to do a film together, assuming I haven’t overlooked some 80's indie film they might have done back in the day.
