My main gripe about Tripp dying, was we were given some nice hints to his family backstory which died a death with him. Also he was a decent addition to the show that sadly was written off far too quickly. A similar issue that happened with Bobbi and Lance, though they weren’t killed off.

I don’t think that was the point Sulagna was trying to make.

We’ll have to agree to disagree about WandaVision. Apart from parts of the final episode, I thought the show was brilliant from start to finish.

Okay that makes sense. I’d completely blanked Dr Cho stuff for AoU, not sure I saw the other stuff.

The original shield was designed by Howard Stark for Steve Rogers in Captain America: First Avenger when he became Captain America during World War II.

The First Avenger maybe?

Yeah I’m not remembering any MCU films being guilty of that either.

I’m trying to imagine her and Sam Jackson sparring on screen as former lovers.

This should have come out after delayed 2020 MCU films.

Zemo being shipped off the Raft seemed a bit anticlimatic, though at least it keeps him on the table for future appearances.

This week’s was okay, but considering we’ve had five weeks to get to this point everything still seems undercooked. I’m thinking that maybe an additional two episodes to fill in the missing pieces would help with overall story arc.

JLD’s appearance threw me for a second, then I really warmed to it.

Damn, this is sad news.

For my sins I don’t mind Battleship, but totally see your point about how Avatar falls into that category of blockbuster (even allowing for it being by Cameron).

I don’t think people generally do hate Avatar. The lack of a cultural footprint wasn’t a thing I thought about until I saw the odd comment online when some (not all) folks talked about the film. The fact that Avatar is fairly forgettable seems a valid point to raise about the film.

Magnets baby!

There’s already a supervillain who does that.

Haha, quite possibly.
