I don’t why Apple didn’t try to get in on the deal. Beyond their smallish original content, Apple TV+ is sorely lacking a compelling USP.

Fry’s Turkish Delight, which is basically a chocolate covered version, is slightly better than the real thing. It’s still a naff chocolate/sweet though.

I’m guessing that everybody who fought in the final battle against Thanos Mk II, was considered (or retroactively made) an Avenger.

In those instances the big media companies, worried about their profit margins.

I’m still bitter than we never got the uncut version of Austin Powers International Man of Mystery in UK until 10-15 years after its initial release, because it had a joke about splitting up Charles and Diana in it. Also Kylie Minogue’s Impossible Princess album had to be renamed, in case it offended people mourning

The thing I remember him most from was as the guy who offs himself at the start of The Client, only after previous attempts were foiled by the child protagonist.

I’d say 2016 Ghostbusters was okay, but nothing special.

I saw the trailer for this yesterday and thought the show seemed like a variation on This Is Us (but without the different time periods). It looks okay, judging from this review the show needs to flesh out a few of the characters.

True I very much doubt it was malicious, it’s just a shame (IMO) that Geoff Johns was so rigid. You’d think that DC would be open to skipping Hal after his solo movie bombed and going with John Stewart, who lots of folks would know from the cartoon series?

My issues are that Cyborg wasn’t, until relatively recently, a member of Justice League and that Hal still had to be the GL of choice for the group.

Whatever happened to Godzuki? Did he have a falling out with the big guy?

I never liked the aliens being the big “thing”  of Crystal Skull, it just felt off when compared to the first three films’ hooks.

Didn’t South Park pretty much slate Crystal Skull at the earliest available point, with their (oh so subtle) metaphor about George Lucas raping Indy?

This show made to the other side of the Pond and I think the only episode I can properly remember is when they go to NASA. Arvid spots a (deliberate) mistake in some calculation on the wall, which impressed the boffins there.

If Neil Patrick Harris can be a doctor, then there’s no age limit for teachers.

Maybe a clean set of clothes?

Iron Giant predates ET by 14 years though, being as it’s an adaption of Ted Hughes The Iron Man (as it’s called over here in UK). I remember having to read it as a kid in the 80's and being half interested in an old book from the 60's.

Yeah I thought Bumblebee was pretty good, way better than anything Bay did. Paramount should have used that film as a jumping off point to reboot the series.

I don’t think it’s that hot of a take. The Sopranos was good, but it never moved me in the way “lesser” shows like NYPD Blue or The Shield did.
